Hi every1, I have got call frm MFC as well as MBE. Can u plz help me decide which 1 wud be better fr me. I m actly frm Engineering backrnd so both Finance and Economics will be alien to me.
Kindly inform me what kind of career prospects i mite be looking at after MFC and MBE.
And wat r the average packages for both the courses? And do bothe these courses have 100% placement every year?

Have you decided what profiles you want?In MFC there would be hardcore finance profiles.But in MBE,there are lot many profiles-analyst,marketing research,consultancy etc.. When you are in second year,you would be having two specilisations to chose from.Both have equal importance unless other BSchools where you have one major and one minor.. Being an engineer is no hurdle for you if you are a fast learner.Would you beleive if I say the toppers in our batch includes more of non-commerce people ;) About the packages,thats the million dollar question rightAnyways this year has seen lot more improvement than the recession time..Almost all of our seniors have been placed,others are awaiting for the final result from the company they applied for.The average is approximately 8 and the highest is approx 12.
I can quote details for MBE and not for MFC.

Answered above..Hostel fees are given under the brochure for each hostel. Geetanjali hostel is for girls and the rest two are for boys.Download the brochure for more details:) Regarding your visit,all of us would be joining our internships.And documents must be mentioned in your call letter.

Comparison is not at all allowed here..But still if you want to know the option-consider placements,ROI,faculty(all of our full time faculty is Ph.D),alumni association.

I don't think I'll be able to manage to get the migration certificate before the deadline. Also, it mentions admit card. I have misplaced it and didn't even have it even on the day of the interview. besides, My XAT score is 90%ile.. I got rejected in GIM (GOA), IFMR(Chennai), MFC(Delhi) interviews... I've my last GDPI call of wellingkar Mumbai on 6th May..

With you age I guess it was your first season of entrance.Even I have BBA background.I had calls from UBS chandigarh,IIFM bhopal,MHROD and MBE..I was waitlisted in MBE so I deposited my fees for MHROD till I had MBE convert.And believe me I am satisfied with this unique course I am pursuing:) If you think you can sit for another year and carry on with your experience along with the preps. An advice for you please try to understand what you want to pursue-MBE or MBA?Understand the differences between them?

How much does CFA or FRM benefit with MBE at the time of placements? 3.Total amount that we need to deposit at the time of admission.

Few of my batchmates are doing FRM and CFA though.The course is good enough but still FRM and CFA are value addition that would create differentiation in your resume and set them apart from your classmates.
As of now you would have to deposit that 11k bucks if it has not changed yet.

Yeah you can ask for permission to provide the migration certificate and character certificate later when you join.

If I recall my time,I gave the one I got from school and not college..You can ask when is the last date for it.Not all the certificates are required immediately.Like I gave my final migration later in august since it takes time to get that..

Hmm,I don't think so..Is it fun exploring the campus before you join it actually?Anyways most of friends personally came for taking admission..You can ask this at the department.
PS-Avoid coming late..The cashier closes at 3pm and the lunch timings are from 1-2pm..So preferable come early in the morning at around 10am.

i am already enrolled in MIB but i have intrest to study more can i pursue mbe after completing mib.WIll it add value?will there be repetition?
u can opt for IB as ur specialisation subjects in ur 3rd n 4th Sem still i think if u want to study further rather than MBE , PhD in eco will be more helpful to boost your career oppurtunities. its my opinion..... rest u shold do more research abt it.....
they ask for the originals of the marksheets n degree certi. do they required it for the verification purpose(since they ask for photostate also ). or they will keep it with themselves(just as my engg insti keep it wid them at the tym of admission process)
