I think its great idea to have pre MBE meet. We had it last year twice and each time there were 9 people who could make it.
Its fun to meet before. May be some of the seniors can also join if they are available on that day...some one among ppl who are joining just need to take initiative and coordinate.

I agree with ishu that u guys should meet up at a central location...a pre mbe meet would be ideal....preferably after the 3rd list is out..that way ud meet a no of ur batchmates..... Cheers!!!
Yeah i 2 think we should all meet up at a get2gder. I think the suitable time would be after the third list would be out on 9th of June. Also i would like our seniors to join dis if pssible so the suitable day should be on any of the(planned :D) weekends as they mite be buzy with their internship n all.. I can only see 30 members in MBE 2010-2012 cmmnity on FB so i request u all to please join dis group on FB so that we can plan for a pre MBE meet and meet our future batchmates :)
Hey mates !! 1. The idea to have a pre-mbe meet is indeed a good one! The only thing to be considered is the date on which it should be convened..IMO, if we actually want our classmates and seniors to gather over there, we should either select a date that is 3-4 days subsequent to the date of announcement of the third admission list OR, alternately, a date after the form filling process for the hostel started so that the students not belonging to NCR shall also be able to become a part of the meet..For the sake of the students who belong to NCR and our respected seniors, it should be kept in mind tht the date selected is a holiday( sunday or otherwise )(Seniors please correct me if I am wrong)..Suggestions from seniors and fellow batch mates are VERY MUCH REQUIRED.. 2. People who have secured admission into MBE(and not filled in the details in the tracker) are requested to kindly fill in their details in the spreadhseet so that we can get the info about our batch and also about the no of people planning for hostel accomodation..It would also enable WL people to track their WL movement...
I would like to inform all of you that the dress code for all the MBE studens is Formal Business suits(black in color) for both guys and gals. It should be black blazer, trouser, plain white shirt and a matching decent sober Tie.
The B-suit should be plain and not any kind of designer or something. This is required to be wore at the time of all seminars, placement process, convention etc.
I'm informing this in advance as you people will need it during your 2 year stay MBE and soon after you guys join.
Can Seniors throw sm light on the rules regarding Refund of the admission fees..?? Actually, I'm luking for some good job opportunities thse days, N if I get any, then I'll go 4 Masters after taking 1 yr work ex.. So, wanted sm info abt the rfund rules.. plz help... thanks in advance..

Hostels as one of the options:- Since I have lived for 3 complete years in satya niketan owing to my UG college, I have a fair bit of idea about the place, and IMO hostels are actually a very good option.Though most of the people wont be able to get an accomodation in the hostel, it is quite obvious tht they will have to arrange for an accomodation outside the hostel, IF I am offered a seat in the hostel, without any second thought, I will go for it. As far as accomodation outside the hostel is concerned, PGs are available in satya niketan and nearby areas and a lot of UG as well as PG students live there..guys who are thinking of an accomodation in satya niketan, it would be better if they do it without any further delay as once the first cutoff list for the admissions to the ug programmes is out on 22nd june, PGs will get occupied like anything..

I guess the 3rd waiting List will be out tommorow so the wait is finally over.Just be patient enough,the letters will be dispatched & a notice will be put up on the notice board in the Dept as well as uploaded on to the site For any queries plz feel free to call the dept @ 011-24111141 during working hours. I finally made it in the third list.... and a special thanx to miss sweetgal shruti and all the seniors of mbe for ur support and guidance....without whch it wud hv been impossible to cruise.... @shruti I didnt kno u gt promoted.....community leader...lolz
I am also looking frwd to that laptop deal whch was earlier quoted in ths thread..kindly provide me the link or the specifications coz I am interested in the bulk deal... looking frwrd to meet my batchmates and seniors in the meet(whenever organised shortly)
and one query.....I m nt a DU grad so I need to furnish migration certi.... who issues a migration certi??is it the college/insti last attended ??? I have a migration certi which was issued to me my CBSE after completion of my high secondary...so will that do or I have to gt it frm my college?? kindly reply ASAP... congrats to the converters...... all the best to ppl who waiting for the 4th list thanx

Congratz dude... The Migration certi is issued by the University that you have just passed out.It is possible that u may not be able to furnish it for whatever reasons but do not worry coz the dept wil giv u sufficient time for submission. It can be submitted as late as Sep-Oct provided u hav a genuine reason & continued correspondence with the office staff. Cheers & Welcome to the MBE fraternity....

Thnx a lot Rishabh!!!! Finally the most awaited moment finally arrived, I made it thru nd congos to other batchmates 2 hu made it, nd ATB to other W8ing list people. hope u ll also convert!!! Nd Kaushik I ll be there to deposit ma fee nd documents on monday!!! so if possible plan on monday, nd we ll co-ordinate the rest!!!! In the end I wud lyke to say there has been a lot of help provided by our prosective seniors nd fellow batchmates thru PG nd Facebook, I am Really thnkful to all of u for ur valuable updates , insights and support.

heyyyyy puyss first of all congrats to all the people who converted in the third list now that the third list is out....................should we plan a meet????????? those who r outside delhi will be here arnd 1st week of july as to thats wen hostel forms r out...........(thats what i have heard........do correct if i am wrong) so we can hv a meet in early part of july......... or the people in delhi can hv a meet in june and then probably another one in early part of july...............after all our seniors also had two meets (as posted by our senior ishu kapoor) ab seniors he toh juniors ka margdarshan karenge....... pour in ur views people anybody willing to coordinate can cum forward....................

I agree with u buddy!!! I think there shud b a single meet, nd 1st week of july is nt far away, Although our seniors done two meets, nd its gud to knw each other as much as possible, but it shud include all, nd give every1 a fair chance, i guess!!!
