I was going through "PG Rules (Amendment) for Admission (05/06/2018)" , Page 8, point (4) (b) mentions following:

" Candidates who have been allotted seat other than first preference and reported to ARC for confirmation of seat acceptance, whilst filling fresh option form, he/she need not fill the preference already allotted to the candidate in the previous round. Once upward preference is allotted to such candidate, his earlier seat allotment shall stand automatically cancelled. In the event of no such upward preference is allotted, his previous allotment stands retained; "

This means that we need not fill college alloted in CAP I while filling options form for CAP II if we have already visited ARC and paid Rs. 1000 ?

Can somebody please check and confirm ?

Can i do float in this round also as i did it in first round by paying Rs. 1000 in case i still want betterment???

Any chances of getting into KJ Somaiya or Welingkar in cap 3 or cap4

I got college "x" in cap 1 and I used float option. In cap 2 i got college "y" but i m still hoping for betterment. Can use float again in cap 2 ? If yes, then how ?

If a candidate floats his college in the first round, till when will be his claim exist on the floated seat?

If I've floated my allottment in the 1st round, paid the 1000 bucks and gone to an ARC, and in the 2nd round, due to not getting a better college, I freeze the same college I floated in the previous round, do I need to pay again and/or go to the ARC again?

I floated after cap1 results, if I don't get any college in round 2 and I freeze that option,do I need to go to ARC again? or reporting to the allotted institute would be enough?
