Hi
I am looking for 1 year MISM course from US but found only 2 colleges that actually offers them
1. Carnegie Mellon University, 1 Year MISM
2. MS in Management Information System from University at Buffalo
A) Can anyone help me if there are any more colleges in US that offers 1 year MISM course?
Below is my Profile
Class 10th CBSE - 79.8%
Class 12th CBSE - 60.8%
B.E. (Electronics & Communication) - 65.6%
Work Exp. - 5.6 years - Senior Testing Engineer
B) What is a good GMAT Score required to enter the above 2 colleges with my profile?
C) What are the job prospects after completing the course from either of the university?
Any help is much appreciated....Thanks in advance :-P

Most colleges in the US work on a credit system, rather than a fixed time-frame. You can finish a MSISM in 1 year if you take more credit hours in a semester. The avg. time is 2 years given that most people take 9CH in a semester. (3 credit hours = 1 course/subject in most schools).
ISM is still a very hot field in the US and has the most number of jobs and growth prospects. However, choice of school is very important. CMU is one of the best schools in the world, and SUNY Buffalo is quite good. Very few schools are as good as CMU, but UNC, ASU and UF are as good as SUNY Buffalo for this program. There are many, many good schools but personally I know these 3 are very good.
Keep in mind that the IS program might be offered in the B-school, so once you graduate you only get 12 months of OPT (work permit), after which you need a H1-B sponsor. If you do a MSCS, you get 29 months, but obviously the curriculum and job profile will be very different. So, look at all the factors before you apply.
You can probably use GRE as well as GMAT (check the dept. websites). You will need around 650+ with your profile to get into most. CMU might need around 700.
Good luck,
