Under Graduate Course Curriculum
Bachelor in Physiotherapy-BPT:
Annual BPT intake of students is 40 and the programme is recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapy (IAP) since 1998. The college to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences which is the Health University for the state of Karnataka.
Selection of students:
For under graduate course in BPT the intake of students is 40 per year.
The Management quota is 32 seats and the government quota is 8 seats.
Indian Nationals:
80% of the seats are allotted by merit selection based on the marks obtained at the 12th/PUC for the aggregate obtained in physics, chemistry and biology.
The tuition fee payable is decided well before the start of the seat allocation.
Candidates will have to pay the University fee and other miscellaneous fees.
Hostel and mess fee would be charged separately.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have passed 12th standard and should have obtained 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (taken together) and should have passed English as one of the subjects.
The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of Admission.
Foreign Nationals, Non Resident Indians and People of Indian Origin:
Should have studied in English with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as major subjects.
Should have the eligibility certificate from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) to pursue physiotherapy education program in the state of Karnataka.

Post Graduate Program:
The Masters in Physiotherapy MPT program is a 2 year degree program under RGUHS. The program offers electives in Cardio respiratory, Musculoskeletal, Adult Neurology, Pediatrics and Community Physiotherapy.
Seat Selection:
The intake is 10 seats of these 8 seats are under management quota and 2 seats come under government quota.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate should have completed a BPT degree from a recognized university in India and the course should be equivalent to the BPT program offered by RGUHS. The course commences in the 1st week of May of each year as per the calendar of events of RGUHS.
The examination is held at the end of the 2 year program and is usually held in the 3rd week of April each year.
Procedure for Admission
Results should be declared before the first week of June of the Admission year.
Application forms are uploaded on the website, aspiring candidates must download the same and complete the form, attach all the relevant enclosures as given in the application form.
The candidate has to Registrar of Academics or Department of physiotherapy with all the necessary enclosures.
