We have now a Kolkata Biz School, Chennai Biz School, Bangalore Business School and now a Mumbai Business School. How about starting a new one in Delhi, Delhi Business School?

MSB is different and MBS is other one... one is Mumbai School of business and the other one is Mumbai Business School.

It's a new business school in mumbai following the track of 1 year PGP. It certainly has a good corporate background and a good faculty resource. I've been offered admission and have accepted it as a backup. There's one big problem with it, they keep on changing their course start date. Initially it was supposed to start in Jan hwich they changed to Feb, then to March and now they say they finally are goona begin the course from May 8.
The only possible reason I could think of is, that they haven't generated enough batch strength, so they are trying even harder and changing the dates to entertain more applications. They came up with First Merit List (Mumbai Business School - MBS) with around 50 names, of which so far roughly 10 students have paid registeration fee (including me).
The school certainly has some great names associated with it, which gives me one of the reaso to join, but still am not sure if this would be a wise decision, with every changing course dates.
Even I feel worry some bcoz they are changing dates like anything and I doubt about 8 may also.
Again May is too far yaar.

Did u speak to them regarding the same.. and they allowed you to pay in may ? well if its your back-up then which other options u hav ?

hi this is soumya here. got to the track of mbs of late. so Mr Neerav , u have already paid 1 lakh. is not it? how worth is the school to do mba having 6 years of work exp. could u teel me how u have been selected? any gd/pi was thr to get selected 50 people out of so many? its a gr8 time to be hands together. with folded fists in this current recesion, please share some good advice. hans a lot guys for initiating the dicussionand fuelling afterwards.

there was no GD which i faced. there were just two things which i faced. on the spot essays (2) followed by an interview.
got the final admission letter in 2 days that was it.
Hi Abhishek here , I have also got an offer from Mumbai Business School , I only had a 10 minutes telephonic interview with admission team and was given an offer on basis of my profile .
I am also doubtful about joining this course as there was no GD/PI and not even a rigorous interview for selection .
The only attractive factor about this college is that there are credible people behind it .

I had the same experience.. applied a few days back and got in with a small 10 minute interview..
