After seeing UIIC AO results, it is possible for NABARD also to have 1:3 ratio..like ~300to350 for interview.. Don't know what kind of shocks we may expect. Lets get ready to face it..

Ans (a) Progress without peace is an unimaginable thing , the most prosperous countries are those who has peaceful climate in their country. A peaceful country invest their scarce resources in productive sectors instead of spending in wars and weapons. Countries like Iceland ,Norway and Denmark which topped the World peaceful Index are the one who has high human and economic development indicators . Today , the least developed countries are those which faces regular social and political instability ,caused due to ethnic violence,separatist tendency and other social and political tensions. These countries instead of spending the public resource in productive social infrastructure such as health and education ,diverge their resources to military expenditures. Violence hinders growth of the country in many ways . First, it results into the flight of capital away from the country to other country which offers more peaceful condition to conduct business. Secondly , it leads to migration of skilled human resource which further reduces the productivity of the country. Violence and under-development forms a vicious cycle after some time and reinforce each other which further aggravate the situation. In India , most of the least developed states are hit by left wing extremism which affects their progress and disconnects them from rest of the India. People lacks basic amenities and benefits of various government schemes do not reach to them. According to the world development report, most of the world's least developed countries are in African continent , which is due to the ethnic divide created by their past colonial masters. Most of the countries after getting independence , indulged into the violent ethnic fights. Another example is Afghanistan , which remained a battle ground for more than three decades , now faces the worst human and economic development conditions , various terrorist groups emerged in due course which now hindering the growth and investment climate of the country. Hence, in order to achieve progress, a climate of peace and trust is a indispensable requirement for any country without which all other efforts are futile.

I've called up HR nd asked him politely..like can we expect results today nd how many will be called for interview.. He said cant today , but tomorrow or wednesday for sure..

Which are the usual centers for interview? There will be more than one center I believe!
Since the interviews for the post of Assistant Manager ( P & S ) are being held from 27 to 30 June 2016 at NABARD HO, I think result will come only after 30 June - may be July 1 (this friday ) ...What do you ppl think ?
