In my interview one south indian person was very dominant.. Even he was not allowing other members to speak.. He was asking question and answering himself.. I dunno how much marks he will award
Even though very few have shared interview experiences so far, everyone has talked about PPT based questions, and some based on general awareness issues. Aren't they asking any personality/biodata-form based questions at all?
interview experience (date - aug 23; new delhi)
panel members - 6 including 1 lady member. (very senior members)
99% of the candidates are civil services aspirants.
Qs will be from your bio-data i.e home state and/or any nabard project going on there....those who r busy preparing indian economy or govt. schemes wont be of any help....they r not even asking about ur hobbies...if u r working or have worked somewhere Qs will be from your job profile.....some ppl were asked Qs from academics too. 1 Q is quite common - How will Nabard benefit from u? they are asking Qs from case study which will be shown on a slide. You will be asked to read the ppt and then Qs will be asked from there. It is like a visual comprehension passage. I found this 1 quite difficult as it is very difficult to remember the contents in just one go. There will be Qs on agriculture and rural development (mugging up Economic Survey or Budget will not help). In crux, hardly any factual thing will be asked.
About the Board members:
The chairman of the Board is very cordial...he will relax u...laugh loudly...crck jokes with u.. But other members will behave differently. Some will be serious, some will not be (its all intentionally done). The avg time is 15-20 minutes. However I was interviewed for half an hour.
Whether u cud answer their Qs or not, u will definitely enjoy the interview.
i am getting 126.75 in grade a... cut off is 125.75.. is it worth appearing in the interview... please suggest...
Is NOC compulsory for attending the interview or I will have the option to produce it at a later date after signing the undertaking .

all of them were experts of their respective field.
all of them were very cordial .
questions were asked randomly from different backgrounds covering my degree ,nabard,ridf fund,psl,non conventional sources of energy,ppt(sustainable development,shg) ,my family and state.

The head of the panel was aware of the process of my past Oxygen Plant so 8-10 mins there was a discussion on Cryogenics (he seems very excited and said such a interesting field it is, then realizing that he has taken a lot of time he asked other members to ask)
He asked abt my fav topic I replied Economics and banking sector and then he came into his form and asked indian economy is going through a structural change what does that mean i answered it correctly den he asked is it beneficial for our economy or not? I answered it and the other member picked something from my ans and asked GOI has launched two schemes to support what i said they were Make in India and Skill India ( i touched upon the services industrial n agri sector contibution to GDP and how india needs skilled workforce that is y he asked that). A few minutes discussion happened on this topic then they showed a video of Montek Singh and asked me does it make sense to me what he was saying in the video ( he was talking abt agri horticulture and workforce diversion).
few minutes were spent of that video den another member asked that your father is in co operative bank what wld be your suggestions to him to help recover cooperatives banks from debilitating situation. another round of discussion..phewww when u r inside u dont realize how 25-30 mins r gone.
questions vary according to ur profile and wat u ans to their questions. so try to bring in some key words which u think cld lead to another questions.
