RBI has Allready Revised their Pay Scale from April.. Why NABARD havent Revised Yet..?? Even in Recent Development Assistant Notification the have wrote Old Scale..

@ Mumbai. Interview based on work experience, one newspaper article and a slide. Its similar to Delhi with same panel. I can say it's a discussion rather than an interview.

NABARD Assistant Manager interview experience: Mumbai, BKC Date: 07-09-2016 The guy who was taking care of the candidates who are sitting in the lobby outside of the conference room where 'Harakiri' was being attempted was very cordial and receptive. Whilst the other guys were being interviewed, he discussed with us about why engineers are opting the banking insudtry, what attracts you towards NABARD, why NABARD? , will it augur (engineering-->banking transition) well for the nation in the long run as most productive minds are opting to switch, gave a long lecture about evolving role of NABARD in Climate Change, etc. He virtually destressed us and this was like a mock interview for us. I entered the room. The panel chairman asked to to have a seat sit without the formal salutations. What are you doing these days?. I said I am preparing for competitive exam. Person to the right of Chairman asked which exams? I said SBI, SSC etc. Chairman said 'bolo na SSC, PSC, UPSC'. Second question was about the hobby mentioned in extra-curricular activities. I had written ' A member & organizer of film appreciation club ' Mirage'. He asked to me which is your favourtite Indian movie and reasons for it. I said its' Pather Panchali' by Satyajit Ray. He said ok nobody amongst us seems to have watched it except the sophisticated guy you guys were talking about. He asked to narrate story about 'Sairat', a Marathi movie, whixh was hugely successful recently and was also controversial. I was narrating the story and chairman stopped me like a million times in between and narrated the further plot. He was very particular about the keywords and tried to elicit the exact template which he had in his mind. He asked about the recent event in Maharashtra, a rape incident where 4 men raped a girl and killed her, and asked me is it ok on behalf of Maratha community to blame the film ' Sairat' for this. I said it a crime perpetrated by some anti-social elements and should be dealt with accordingly. By this time, 8-10 minutes were over. He said lets move on and concentrate on NABARD for which you have come. All this time only the chairman and I were speaking and rest all were creepily staring at me. I felt petrified like a chicken to be butchered. Especially the lady was damn serious throughout. Then other south Indian guy asked me what is this UoP and whuch VIT. Is it from Vellore? He cracked some joke about UoP which I didn't understand and the Marathi guy intervened and said it is University of Pune. Chairman asked was your college co-ed? I said I didn't uundrstand what is co-ed. I took a pause of 5-6 seconds and said I didn't understand your question. Then I realised he was speaking aboiut co-education. I said yes it was co-education. Further question were about my family members and why you didn't choose to support your family if you are not financially well off. Without waiting for my anser he said isn't it logial you should have gone for a job. I don't remember what did I say. Chairman asked me about the situation in Marathwada and how wouuld you improve the situation if you are posted there. I said something about irrigation and stopping people from cultivating warer guzzling crops. What crops are taken in Marathwada and why people are migrating frrom Marathwada to other regions. He said how what else do you recommend and how to solve the issue. I said awareness programmes wherein officails would go to remote places and educate people about various schemes. All this while, the grey coloured person, the man with accent, said ' yaar itna awareness programmes hai, tv hai radio hai toh aisa kaisa hota hai ki logon ko kuch pata hi nahi'. I said ' hota hai Sir. Even today Sarpanch and other people monopolise the local government nad donb't allow the benefits to seep. He nodded negatively and said I can't believe it. Then the person sitting at the rightmost corner nodded positively in an Marathi accent' he is right(meko yahan bahut accha laga) and still situation is very bad in remote parts of Marathwada. The guy with accent asked 'paani hai kya wahan jo log monopolise kar ke sugarcane lagate hai'. I said 'Sir log wahan bore wells hain wahan unke pass'. He said 'no I can't believe ki situation itni bekar hain wahan'. Last question came from chairman 'koi dam hain kya wahan (in Latur district ). I said we borrow water from Solapur district(adjacent to Latur which is my district). Uska naam kya hai? I was like wtf? I was trying to recall and answer and suddenly the rightmost person prompted 'Ujni'. I said yes sir its ujni. Thats it. Extra remarks: Don't go with preconceived notions that they will be cordial or not. Its all about he impression you create there. Also not everyone should expect the video, audio, ppt. They will grill mostly on the biodata and ask very basic qustions like I was expecting questions about film appreciation club and they asked completely fresh question about it. Questions related to your biodata will be asked and you will be counter questioned on it. Be prepared or anything. One of the candidate was from civil enginerring backgroubf and they literally asked to juxtapose civil engineering and NABARD initiatives. Little luck can also help. I think deliberatly the AC is kept very low and it was uncomfortable for me. Panel thought I was speaking at low volume on account of being nervous. But actually the AC was the issue with me. So make sure befor sitting you drink little water and speak clearly and slowly. I was told like a thousand times to speak loudly. Best of luck to everyone for future endeavours.

Hi, I have interview on 12th. I have central OBC certificate which was issued in June 2015. Is that an issue?
I have a question regarding TA form.
1. If I travel by Air will they at least reimburse Second AC fare?
2. If yes, then how much amount should I write in the form?
3. Do I need a printout or something else of the Rail fare to prove how much it is?
