@SURRCH143 u r right as far as specialist are considered they are giving too much time to each. but in generalist most of the interview are like "blowing horn" till u get out of the room, at every point they will doubt u what u say.
@abhishek4sonu : then u are lucky , maybe u have good marks in written test.....or may even depend on your graduation subject and your experience. if they like your qualification then chance of ur selection increases.
@tarunisgd agar new india ke pass vacancies jayada rahti to kiya wo nicl,oicl,uicl ki tarah apna recruitment process nai kar leta-----it only means vacancies in new india will be less than nicl also..(new india ka blog dekho 10000cr ka premium turnover hai,kiya wo itni bikhari ho gai hai kiya ki nicl ke gatbandhan kar ke selection karegi.....phele nicl kha le gi phir jo bachega wo new india kha legi aise nai jota hai is jamane mai....jaroor koi compulsion hoga....so seat new india ka kam hi rakkha)

My dear bro u need not to panic. It is not possible for anyone to judge a person within 15-20 min. The only thing they are analyzing in interview is attitude. Even i want to share u an experience( Plz forgive me if anyone object). It was told to me by a medical officer of Army. He told me that in an interview the PSU's are not looking for an extra ordinary person. They only need a average person i.e neither an extra ordinary person nor a poor one. So I think its very easy for anyone to prove himself against panel an average person(If he is). So don't think about span of time of interview. Just analyse how did u answered them while interview.

vacancies are less for niacl than nicl .........but it simply means dat due to some unavoidable circumstances they cannot conduct their examinations ........simply dats it... .............agar aisa hi hota to aic(agricultural insurance company), which has just 46 vacancies wo bhi ....nicl se hi tie up kr leti ....unhone kyu krwaya itna bada exam aal over india just for 46 vacancies .....!

Taking exam does not represent prestige of an organisation bro.... I am agree with u that seats are comparatively less in NIACL but they offer NICL to recruit on their behalf to minimize recruitment cost. Or may be the they shared recruitment cost with NICL. And I hadn't heard from anyone that meritorious student will be picked by NICL and the remaining gone with NIACL. They have a proper plan for it.

110 seats in nicl are only for generalist's general .
interview experience is bad ....it doesn't means that u r out of game ...i personally know few people from last year batch who performed BAD in interview and still they were in ....and this tym also i m 100% sure aisa hi hone wala hai ......
and ya ...its good to continue with ur further prepations but my friend ...ITS "HOPE" THAT SEPERATES WE HUMANS FROM ANY OTHER RACE ON EARTH .....so jab tak final results nhi aa jata sab HOPE to krte hi rhege .......

today ...a guy whose inerview was schedule on the same day as mine(mumbai) ,he called me ,,and told a new thing which i m sharing wid u all people :
in his words :
"during document verification i asked when the result will be announced from the sir , he said within a month.
then i asked why so late sir last tym it was within a week ?
sir told me dat last tym was july -aug ............this tym its oct ...and october is the month when half of the financial year ends (its starts on 1 st april) so we hv to send our semi yearly reports to XYZ DEPARTMENT OF INDIA( i hv forgotten which dept.) and since recruitment is not as important as preparing & sending semi annual reports , so it MAY take more than expected tym also NIACL is involved this tym so add few more days .......!!"

yaar jinka kolkata center interview tha ...wo hi kuch authentic info laa sakte the yaha pe...bcoz kolkata is the head office waha k staff ko kafi kuch andar ka pata rhata hai ....baki centers pe to sab staff waale apna apna guess lagaya krte hai aur kuch nhi ....par kolkata staff ko exact vacancies + iinterview marks +result announcement date sab pata rhta hai ........
