I also had a similar thought about South indian's before coming down to Chennai.But believe me its not at all like that.They are very warm hearted people.We all have been hearing this very same line since so many years..that even they know english and Hindi they wont speak that and they wont help us,but that's not at all true.
Ache boore admi haar jagah hoote hain.Its not that every north indian is helping in nature.So dont be stereo type,Don't generalize things.:)

but to be very frank : desh wesh ki baatein aajkal politians nhi sochte hai to 1 candidate jise govt job chaahiye wo bhi desh ko serve krne k liye govt job nhi join krta hai ...yeh to bas interview me panel k saamne kehne waali baatien hoti hai ki panel member asked why i want to leave such big XYZ organization with high package and join us ...i , having no genuine answer to it said dat i want to serve india dats why i want to join govt job....reality ,panel members also knows it and so do we...
bhai saachai yahi hai ki aadmi private se govt me isiliye switch krta hai kyu ..private me pressure bahut hota hai ....life become lifeless there(my personal opinion ,no harsh feeling)
no job security , no tym for home,family ,ALL U HAVE IS A GOOD BANK BALANCE .within 2-3 years of private job ,an individual very easily can be seen frustated.......
those who r talented and hv enough will power to leave private job and crack govt. job ..they switch......rest remain in private coz they hv no option ....
u said about army ...no doubt army has a very disciplined lyf but pressure is only during wars or sum serious emergencies in a country(except sum batallions who r 24/7 on borders)....but about private sector job ..its very hectic throughout the year..

My dear brother's I think the topic gone to its worse stage. I just want to point out loopholes which remains on everypart of the country. My point is that if u prove south indian's superior then north indian's its very easy to contradict it too. The thing is that India is a country where u find all kind of people i.e political minds, patriotic in nature, or running behind money. But yeh jruri nahi ki political mindset wale sirf north me milenge, ya pressure jhelne wale sare south me hain.
Rhi baat @Bharat_singh01 bhai ki to its may be possible u r acting as a stereotype cause u r also generalising things according to ur experience but close this talk on a positive way. All indian's are equal and they all have a right to do anything which they like.......

@ferocious002 bhai agree with u that the north indians are more inclined towards govt job....but that doesnt mean that south indians dnt want it...even though the ratio might be slight less//

Sahi bat hai ek to aapas me deemag ki dahi or bahr k aag me hath sek jarhe hain wo alag. Party humari hosakti hai training time me tab pakka milenge jahan tak mera khyal hai but uske lie dono ka hona mangta hai na bhai... dekho kya rehta hai... fingers croosed......
