i apologise for acting like an intruder. since most of guys here seem to be waiting for other's interview experience. i propose to suggest the interview here is just like anu other PSU one. even those already working in there do share the same thought. in any psu there are always certain basic questions like regardng ur academic background. for those who are from totaly diffrnt fields like engineering, question regarding the decision to change, why PSU, role of background, advantage you have, some basics of insurance, companies profyl n chairman, history, basics of IRDA its chairman etc. also they would expect to be thorough in the hobby if we mention any to them as well as a bit of current affairs to check awareness level of candidate. guys question cant be something which require you to be curiosity rover surveying the martian surface. chill guys work on your profile. yes if you want we can have another thread of iinterview questions and ideal answer. but waiting for the iinterview experience's of others might hamper your own preparations

Max New York Life Insurance has reported a twelve-fold increase in its net profits to Rs 283 crores for the fiscal 2010-11, up from previous year €™s Rs 24 crores.
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) continues to hold its strong position amidst the increasing number of private players in the life insurance space.
ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has left its private counterparts way behind by collecting a premium Rs 7860.99 crores during the financial year 2010-11. This is a 24% jump from its premium collections of Rs 6334.3 crores in FY 2009-10.
