one query about placements structure/process... which we All want to understand!!!

1. Is it there one student-one placement? example:- if one student gets placed in one company say for 5 LPA pkg so is he eligible for next company paying 5 or 7 LPA ?

cut-offs below 40%.. Advertisement for MBA Admission will be out in jan last week. Placements are not that good.

The MBA programme is autonomous; The papers are evaluated within the university itself by the respective course instructors.

A company gets dream status if it pays above 6lpa else its normal....

I have been working as an ENGINEER for 45 months. Will it be fine to apply fot NIT Surathkal MBA? or is it better to look at other colleges sucha s IIT/IIMs.

It is totally your decision.. you know the facts and figures of NITs as well as IITs/IIMs, Know it all depends on what your expectations are. There's a junior with 7yrs experience at NITK. He is a Chem Engineer from NIT Jaipur.

So it all depends on what you expect from the college. And definitely IITs/IIMs are way ahead of any NITs.so if you get just go for it.

It depends on what position and what package are you right now. Whats are your expectation from MBA. Do you want to do MBA dis year or you can delay it. Your CAT percentile and what other options you have.
