I just told him to make sure his application form is valid...Just give a call to the admission office, they will help you on this. Yes they have no where mentioned it should be attested by a gazzeted officer, but they have also not mentioned about self attestation. Why did you do that ? If It was not clear to you you should have asked. But now you should call them and tell. I think you can send your documents once again after you receive your registration number(If they are quite happy with your academics and CAT score), but I am not sure.
Avg. package and no. of company visited for 2011....?? How many students are placed out of no. of students studying in 2nd year...?? And dont reply as see the previous post/threads......

Dude, to be frank just work on your writing skills, even if NITK doesn't have any assessment for this. I didn't understand what r u trying to say..sorry for that. Even I belong to NC-OBC and I am not feeling bad, if somebody says you belong to NC-OBC,i.e ur advantage. Why should I feel bad ? When IIMs have introduced OBC reservation, everybody raised questions including the non-engineers. But when IIMs have weightage for non-engineers, now these so called non engineers have stopped raising questions. Now they are posting their scores in PG with a tag Non Engineer.Why ?Those gentlemen who raise questions on such stupid things, do this because they didn't get any calls even if they have scored well and see people getting calls even with scores less than them and yes they work hard(I agree).
Now tell me if an open category candidate have 80%le(for ex), then he won't get calls from IIMs. If he should have belonged to Reserved Category, do you think he will not be interested in IIMs !!! Dude everybody here is trying to take advantage of what they have and MBAs are smart enough to do that. So stop thinking. Do your best. Life is like that, just ignore comments and move on. I don't think for NC-OBC, the cut off might go this much lower.I would suggest you to apply, if you want to test your luck and you are confident enough to convert and you have some strong reason why MBA or wait another year if you think you can still do well. Please work on your writing skills. Don't make fool of yourself. All the best.
thanx bhai for your suggestion and i m agree with you what you said category things and i m not saying that i m very smart ..i feel just bad becoz the enquiry that i post that i have 38% in cat and all that is my first post in the site and some one reply like, do u think u deserve that seat ...and i post that enquiry becoz some people said me that at range of 40 %tile some obc people get cal form nit bhopal and pondicherry university so i m just asking to other that this information is true or not ,my motive behind that post is only this nothing more and i think i have not done any thing wrong,,, and special thanx for the suggestion of writing skill becoz i know my communication skill is very weak ...and i m not making myself fool ,,i m just try to improve my english by seeing others language and by reply them which unfortunately make me fool ....sorry to all of you if i have said any thing wrong here which hurt some one ...

yes sir dey have nt mentioned abt the self attestation too,but as i hv filled up d form of other clgs they hv asked for the self attested copies so i thought...ny ways thanx a lot fr ur support sir...
One can send the application forms by any mode. Any private courier or speed post. I have confirmed it with the admission office. And if you are sending it through any other means apart from Reg. Post then pls don not paste the last (7th) page of the application form on the envelope.
And one more suggestion for all of you, before you post any query please go through previous posts 90% times the query one asks is already answered.

i called the office and they said self attested will also work 😃 .. i have sent the same. so dont worry abt attestation.
seniors please confirm this... in the earlier post it was written that the forms will be rejected if not attested by a gazetted officer..... or else we all have to call the admission office....
also, in the previous posts as one rightly pointed out that.. in the application form and the instructions provided by NIT K it is no where mentioned to have any attestation ...... but some one replied to this,,, as it was to have only gazetted attestation... like one has to infer from those instructions... like we have to assume it.:nono::nono:
but why assume it... if the institute feels to have only attested copies... they should make it bold and clear.... they should update these demands in their forms and instruction...
.... we all aspirants only want true information on this forum.... but these contradictory statements only add to the confusion ...

hey dnt get cofused...i had also sended d self attested copies...but it is ok with dat..i have called d clg n they said dat its ok but u have to carry attested documents(by gazzeted officer or govt official)when u wll go for gd pi...
I have not yet filled the application .. I m staying in a remote place, away from city and is difficult to get an attestation.. When i found that somebody had called up and confirmed that a self attested copy will do I was quite relieved.. but I reached em on phone just to be myself assured .. but to my disappointment they said self attested copies cannot be accepted..:-( seniors pls help ..
I am not understanding what's happening. Even I called the admission office, they said it has to be attested by a Government Official(they completely said Notary will be fine) or a Gazetted Officer, otherwise they will not accept the application form. The lady which told me all this, even she was not sure, she said I'll ask some senior person and after I called again she said the same. Seems noone is having clarity, It is better to attest and send.
