and in drawn at space of bank receipt u have to write " surathkal " and the rest bank will take care of itself .
'director nit karnataka surathkal srinivasanagar ' is to be written in 'in favour of ' column ...
and hurry up ! it will take 4-5 days even by speed post to reach !!!

Bhaai i thnk u shd conform by calling to the admissions office on - (0824)2474000.
i dun thnk they accept courier sent applications.
One can send the application forms by any mode. Any private courier or speed post. I have confirmed it with the admission office. And if you are sending it through any other means apart from Reg. Post then pls don not paste the last (7th) page of the application form on the envelope.
And one more suggestion for all of you, before you post any query please go through previous posts 90% times the query one asks is already answered.

something which again and again i have mentioned is pls go through the previous posts. Have you all gone through it you wouldnt have had these queries- i have already posted after confirming from admission dept. that you can send the Application form through any mode (Courier /speed/ registered post).
Regarding self attestation your application will not be rejected but do come with attested documents during GD/PI and submit the same.
Photo need not be aatested, even if you have done its not an issue.

You can send what you have at present. But do remember whatever documents you are unable to provide now, you should furnish it at the time of GD/PI. Else your candidature will be cancelled.
At this point of time none of the application will be rejected. If someones document is missing, he will be asked to get it during GD/PI through a letter from the college.

It is clearly mentioned in information bulletin that the dd should be made
In Favor of: Director, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal
Payable at : SBI/ Canara Bank Surathkal
The DD is to be made only from these two banks (SBI or Canara Bank), both these banks are in campus.
I dont understand why some of you have made in favor of NIT Surathkal.
If the DD is wrong it will be posted back to your address, and your forms will not be accepted.

But sir in prev post of michale ed(pg55) he has mentioned that in drawn at space u have to mention surathkal.SO it's a bit confusing. Plz have a look at it.

He Misunderstood. That is from which branch you made the DD.
Payable is not applicable and is very well known to college, because they have asked you to make the DD payable at Surathkal. Why would they ask you to fill again the same thing
What they dont know is from which bank and which branch you have made it. And that is what they have asked for.
Anyways if someone has filled surathkal also, the application will not be rejected.

You have a decent chance as per the previous years trend. But since the no of seats are very limited the Cut-offs cant be predicted. It all depends on the pool of candidates applying this year.
You will get a GD/PI call for sure.But the last date is 31st Jan, so hurry up.

Guys this is for those who are still mulling over whether they can convert or not if they are having low score in 10th or 12th or grads or even not having work exp.
dekho yar ek baat socho college wale tumhe kyu call diye despite u havin nt so decent acads etc(well dis is according to ur perception!)??
bas i have nothing to say more coz ishara hi kafi hai samajhdaar k liye...
all those who have got calls have equal probability to convert irrespective of their CAT score and profile..
isliye socho mat and think that u r just one step away.bas in cheezon pe dhayn mat do aur prep jari rakho.now just ur performance in GD and PI will matter and rest of ur previous records will get erased.bas take it this way coz u have already got the call and i hope u will be attending the gd/pi to get urself selected.
rejection process is over..frm here selection stages begin.
chilllllllll maarooo aur masti karoooo....all d best to my dear fellows...
