Shortlisted Candidates for MBA Selection Process
short-listed candidates for the MBA Selection Process (GD & PI) to be conducted on 24 and 25 March 2012. The candidates are required to attend the GD
& PI processes as per the dates allotted. Candidates are expected to assemble at the
Institute Seminar Hall (Main Building at NITK, Surathkal) at 9 AM on the specified
dates as below with all original documents for verification

Plz visit page no. 93 of this thread. All the travel and accommodation related details and guidance are posted there.
And the bus stop name is NITK Surathkal Campus (1. Main Building, 2. Boys Hostel Gate).

This is the list of companies that visited for the current Batch.
Capital IQ - 6.57lpa
Coal India Limited- 8.81lpa
Flakt India- 6lpa
Robosoft Technologies- 4.2lpa
Mu Sigma- 8lpa
FLIP- 5lpa
MIDHANI- 6lpa
Headstrong- 5.8lpa
The placement Season will be ON till 1st week of june, so we are expecting 5-7 more companies till the End. I respect the anxiety and curiosity of all of the aspiring candidates for NITK Surathkal, but feel very sorry to say that unless the placement season is over we will not leak the numbers or stats.
35 students in my batch are willing and eligible for placements and i guess the number of companies visiting should give you a rough idea of where the placement stats stand at present.
I have mentioned already that 100% placement assurance is not give here at NITK. If you deserve to be placed you will not be denied and will be given ample opportunities to be placed.
Another fact is that the MBA program at NITK is relatively new as compared to any of the NITs,but still we have the best placement among all Except Trichy. Every year the number of companies recruiting MBA is increasing.

and few more.........
Now if you feel you need more than 15 companies to place 35 odd students. Then you should look for other colleges and NITK is not a place for you.
If you enroll yourself in NITK you will have a bigger challenge not only to learn and groom yourself but also to take the Brand name of NITK Higher and higher as in Engineering. The name and fame of NITK depends on the students and not rests on any marketing or promotional stuff.
My sincere suggestion will be please dont be worried about placements, you will heve more than 2 jobs here with you, but right from the first day you have to work for it. Because its not the college who will get companies for you,it will be you who will invite companies.
Hope this will make a real and more clear image of NITK Surathkal MBA in the minds of all of you aspiring to be a part the prestigious institute.
