Number System - Questions & Discussions

@asheky the sum is 13.
two triplets (2,2,9) and (1,6,6) give 13 as sum. So, if thirteen is the sum then we cannot say that which of the triplets is there.
For every other sum, we just have one corresponding triplet.
@sachin_nitrkl if you know that the sum is 11, then the numbers can be uniquely found. It shud be 13 i think.
@asheky what is the answer???

@Pratishruti

Not sure but the answer is given as 9999 in Arun sharma. I guess that is wrong. Can you please explain how have you got that (1440)?

@Pratishruti

I guess you are right. Can you please gimme the solution?

@bpolagani :
The 4-digit numbers will range from 1000 till 9999
Now the numbers in the series from 1000 ,1005,1010....to 9995 will be divided by 5
Total numbers=1800
Numbers divided by 25 will be 1000,1025,....9075
Total numbers=360
Numbers which are divided by 5 but not by 25=1800-360=1440

@Pratishruti Thanks a lot 😃

It will be 0.

Because the sum is an odd integer :)
