For people who are still confused about their non creamy status -

To check your status, only your parent's income/post/land holding will be considered, not yours.

(i) Government Servant -   by Post or by Class
(ii) Farmers-  by land holding
(iii) Businessman- by Annual Income (Rs. 6 lakhs)
Important: The rule of income is made for "business income" only.

Rule No. II A (b)- Father or mother direct Class-I officer,
B (a)- Father & mother both direct class II officers
B (b)- Father direct class II officer but promoted to class I before the age of 40 years.

These A and B will come under creamy layer. Only above 3 Government servants are creamy layer, all other are non-creamy layer.

Rule No. VI- When annual family income (family- father mother and minor children) is less then Rs. 6 lakhs for ANY ONE of the last three years children is non-creamy layer.

This interview had happened in Mumbai for New IIMs.

After 15 minutes of sweet interview , they hit me a question

Question: What is Marketing ? ( I m in marketing dept of RIL).

Answering to same, i said something that contained two words "Need" and "Want".

Next question to me was : So, what in difference btw "need" and "want".

Mean while a guy was serving Tea & Biscuits to them. So in the heat of moment i said

"Chai patti" (Tea-bag) is need for Tea , and having Biscuits is want.

Whole Panel laughed a lot and i too share with them. Then they start pulling my legs

like P 1: I want Lemon Tea , this is my Need or Want. I said its your want.

P 2: I want more warm water, this is my Need or Want.

Ha ha ...Whole interview surrounded on Chai and we had Chai pe Charcha : grin:

I heard Tehsildar issued certificate is good for interview. But we need to get DM/DC signed certificate at the time of admission. Is it so?

Guys, please reply to this if anyone has any idea.
