TAPMI - Manipal has received the prestigious AACSB accreditation and is now the only other B-School in India other than ISB, Hyderabad to receive this accreditation
what anonomous21 and mcooljsr r saying are correct in their own terms......the thing is that when u click the "i" symbol corrsponding to the collge name it's showing "Not Accredited"........wheras in other schools(i checked 5 of them including ISB)....it showes "business" which is the category for b-school accrediation
my take- it's official and updation of the website is happening.......so no need to worry
ps-proud to be an aspirant of such a college......makes me even more happier today....way to go TAPMI

Hi Viraj, Can you enlighten us on the impact of the AACSB accredition? How beneficial will the AACSB accredition be for TAPMI students and the kinda changes that we can expect in the course structure etc in order to conform to the the AACSB standards!! Moreover, will it have any impact on the job profiles being offered during placements?? TIA!!

What TAPMI has managed to achieve here is indeed quite phenomenal!
Its amazing , all the top Bschools of india, (IIMS,XL,MDI,XIMB,SP jain,NM..) are yet to get aacsb accreditaion and TAPMI has been able to pull it off. Thats speaks volume about the direction to which TAPMI is headed.

Still not very sure what this AACSB is? TAPMI gettting this status, does this imply that since all the IIMs and FMS are not accredited with AACSB, they are not that good? How does this make TAPMI different from IIMs and other top B Schools?
Its great to hear that TAPMI has been accredited with AACSB. Hope I make it to TAPMI. :biggrin: Although does AACSB follow any rating scheme such as A+ or A*** or something like that, if yes, then what grade did TAPMI receive??

What changes would be made in curriculum? Just a random thought/hope here. Would TAPMI now become a 1 year course 😛 ? Most of the AACSB colleges have 1 year MBA courses 😛
hi puys still in the waiting list. not rcvd any mail till today. hopes are bleak. how to know my waiting no. if any. my cat score 92.72 with work ex 28 months. fairly good gd & pi. dont know what went wrong. seniors please tell is there still any chance to be selected in final list?

Very few colleges have come out with their final list as of now. When more and more colleges come out with their final lists, people who convert colleges better than TAPMI will withdraw their applications. Only in that case, waiting list movement will happen. So, patiently wait till at least the end of April 😃

Ofcourse there is wait till 15th when the final list will be declared
