Yes, in Delhi only.
Cat - 92.26
Work ex - 26 months (Infosys)
Grad - 74%
12th - 64.2%:biggrin:

I dont think any score is given more pref. Both are considered on equal scale. I was able to convert TAPMI with xat score . Hope it helps

Friends....i attended the GDPI on 5th april 2012 at IIFT campus, 10:30 slot, Delhi.
I havnt received any mail or notification regarding shortlisting.
Has anyone else received any sort of confirmation for the Delhi interviews???
when can v expect the results for the delhi center ???

Well, this is something new for India. Internationally it is well recognised and not every Tom, **** and Harry is given this accreditation. MNC's would surely look at it as a factor for recruitment. Even ISB got it 4 months back.

All I can say is you will find out its impact in another 6-8 months.

I feel both CAT and XAT are given equal weightage since both are nationally recognised. I have converted based on my XAT scores!!

I need some advice regarding the educational loan for TAPMI.

1. Which bank will provide me the maximum cover?
2. Are hostel accommodation and mess charges included in the loaned amount?
3. Can the cover be 100% (i.e. zero down payment)?
4. Which bank has the lowest interest rate? Credila?
5. At the time of repayment, can the loan duration be shortened by making bulk payments?
6. Which bank will take the least time to give money?


Hi, I've already applied for the loan from Credila.
They are offering me Rs 10 lac without collateral @13%.
The 10 lac can be used for any purpose- tuition, hostel or mess, but they won't be able to release the money every month (in case of mess fee). However, if we pay the mess bill from own sources and submit the receipts, they will refund the money every six months.
The repayment period is upto 10 years.

13% over 10 years is high, dont you think?
I read somewhere SBI is offering at 12%.

But for an amt over 7.5 you will need to provide collateral!!
