I took a DD for 3.13L and sent it to tapmi. I had taken a xerox before sending it. When I looked at the xerox, the date column in the dd is blank. They have forgot to mention the date in the dd. I have sent the dd and other particulars already. Will it create any problem? Any bankers out here?
Check to the left of the Date column whether the date is printed or not. Sometimes due to printer alignment issues, the date often gets printed elsewhere on the DD, leaving the date column blank. In that case the receiving bank ppl are able to find the date and proceed with processing the draft without any issues. Ideally NO bank will issue a draft without a date.

Just an observation , 44 % batch placed in IT. Having worked in IT for 30 months, i would not have personally liked to see so many recruits in IT . But thats how it is .

I would like to add one thing about IT companies hiring in bulk from TAPMI (and similar colleges). Some of my close friends who also have worked in IT industry for 2-3 years(like me) are studying in some Ivy league schools such as IIMs, XLRI, etc. There also the IT guys are getting roles in IT companies majorly. We have to accept that after 2-3 years of experience in the industry non IT companies would not be too wiling to take us as it is said that an IT guy has a typical mindset(work habits) which is difficult to change. Some companies that is why have started preferring freshers for certain roles than experienced guys (most of them again IT). And also we are forgetting the fact that this is the sector which currently has lot of jobs, sectors like manufacturing might not be capable of hiring in huge nos.

If what you say is true, then that would suck for me. A thing in my bucket list, is to leave the IT field and never come back. I was thinking of crossing it off the list, but now I guess I'll have to wait for 2 yars 😞
