Last year waitlist movement was around 980 (checked by puys in last year's thread) So, the person with 503 has almost a 100% chance of converting

so they are releasing the waitlist nos tonite ??? okay what do you mean by not the latter of the list ...do you mean ppl who wont make it to the waitlist numbers tonite would be a reject ???? or will they have to wait for a second waitlist to be released later ?

Nimbus bhai, this year movement till 980 will NOT happen surely as last year no of increased seats were announced very late which caused w/l movement but this year w/l movement will be less & it cannot be predicted rite now...

Waitlist movement can be affected by that as well this year. 😛 Anyways I just stated last year's movement, never said this year it will be the same/more/less. One can only guess.I just stated last year's number to give a fair idea since a person asked what are his chances at 503. Hope it helps others as well. 😃

Most of colleges have an international package(plcement abroad) shown in their website other than highest package and avg package(wich is usally a very high package)..why does'nt tapmi have one...do none of he students from TAPMI get placed abroad?..

Hope u dont mind..this is something personal and i am not able to decide...
i have a H1 visa for the united states..and have chance of going on a long term basis..parallely have converted TAPMI to...
So what do u guys suggest...is it worth leaving an onsite for TAPMI..
Dude it depends upon your long and short term Goals... Going onsite on a long term basis will make you more competent professionally and 3-4 years down the line an Exec MBA will be the only viable option (I am assuming that you will be still keen for an MBA then)
Whereas if you choose TAPMI now over the onsite opportunity, you will be done with an MBA in the next two years and you will have a plethora to options to choose from which will include an option to revert to IT as well.

In terms of campus facilities, it is one of the best in country for a b-school. If you want to feel it like I did last year, Visit it.
P.S. My visit literally swept me off my feet.

well i cant say about KJ Som but their low fees is a booster for ppl who need a good ROI post graduating... But TAPMI has a better brand recognition... thats all i can say !!! IMHO if good ROI (in case you are calculating it in terms of salary offered after graduating) is your thing K J Som seems very good in that,,,
