Yeah IT marketing or IT sales is a good option as a career
Is it like to get a IT-Marketing job, ones profile must be either work-ex in IT company and/or Computer/IT Engineer? I am Mechanical Engineering Student and I have work-ex in Sales but of Engineering Products and thus in no way linked to IT at the moment. Can I look for such Job profiles ?
I have withdrawn my application from TAPMI and sent a letter to the director to by post.I am still yet to recieve confirmation of the letter from TAPMI even tough i asked them specifially to inform me of the same..I cant get through on phone...What do I do?
It is very hectic this time of the year for admissions office. They will get back to you when it is possible but rest assured that they wont overlook any requests.

How long they usually take after withdrawal to return the 3.28 lk?
are the calls for the total 300 seats given? or only the exceptional calls are given? Just want to make sure...coz when i login it asks me to check after 25th.. thank you!!
I have one question that I have sent my initial acceptance email and deposited the 25k but did not receive any confirmation from TAPMI .Do they give confirmation themselves or do we need to ask specifically by email or calling?
Hope u dont mind..this is something personal and i am not able to decide...
i have a H1 visa for the united states..and have chance of going on a long term basis..parallely have converted TAPMI to...
So what do u guys suggest...is it worth leaving an onsite for TAPMI..
You have to decide on your priorities man. If you want to stick with IT then go to your "onsite". If you feel management education is more important, then choose TAPMI.
Asking us such a random question, is like asking us to choose from "Butter chicken and strawberry ice cream." Both are great, but only you can know which you want more.
P.S: My opinion. I have been onsite too. Trust me, TAPMI is a way better career choice than just 2-3 months of onsite.
Puys.. just want to know when can we expect some certainty for the waitlisters. Its difficult to even compare with previous years' data because we dont have any numbers. plus if the waitlist is going to be out by the 25th, then are we in for another round of waiting and anticipating? 😞

Yes they e-mail..better call the admission office. Usually they take 2 working days..after that u can ask them

According to TAPMI admissions thread, some one has called up Tapmi adcom and they said WL nos will be out by tomorrow morning.
Does TAPMI respond after receiving the intial acceptance as I have not received anything.DO i need to email or call them?
TIA
I have made the payment of 25k through NEFT/internet banking mode and mailed(via email) them the details and the initial acceptance letter yday itself to which i have received an acknowledgement today from the Admissions Team.

I can understand the confusion too brother..I am also in a similar type of situation (albeit i dont hav visa now..but the circumstances are such tht i may need to get one soon if MBA nt gonna happen)
If I give my personal opinion..going onsite leaving TAPMI is not a once in a lifetime opportunity..getting placed after studying in TAPMI u might end up going to onsite again after a few years of work..or best case in a few months or so too..
But If u leave now for onsite..and if u r happy with the current lifestyle (although money wont be an issue i hope..coz in onsite one earns decent amount of money)..then its a green light for u..by all means take this opportunity of onsite now
hi friends, do any one know what was the cutoff in terms of waiting list serial no, for the last yr........
Comparing last yr's cutoff really would be of no use.. Last yr the results were announced by 21st Apr which means people in the first list had confirmed their seats elsewhere and waitlist moved really fast... this year the process ended before other colleges so chances are folks would've already paid their fees at TAPMI and confirmed their seats before other colleges take out their shortlist...
