Hi Kritika, it has already been mentioned that people with original 2nd W/L nos till 400-500 had a fair cance of conversion. Beyond that, it was difficult to predict the chances and puys had been suggested to go for the next best option available. And regarding how long you have to wait, it might be pretty long considering the fact that many colleges are yet to announce their results.. So gud luck!!

hi...there's a change in the status message now..earlier i was waitlisted at 73 .now as 50 people were called my number has come down to 23 .and i'm asked to check my status after 7th may.Do I have a realistic chance ? i have a call from another bschool and i have to pay around 1 lac before "may 7th" and later if i get a mail from tapmi to pay 3.13 or so....it will be difficult for me to adjust such an amount..so i request seniors to take a call on my situation..."23" Thats' my new waitlist number

with due respect sir, can you please tell me how many seats are still left vacant in TAPMI?? when the 2nd waitlist was announced sumone said that its for 220 seats, but now there's a murmur in the room that only 50 seats are vacant, so what exactly is the number of seats intended to be filled up by this waitlist movement??
Realistic chances at WL 62 ? I have to pay admission fees for another college since the deadline is next week and the TAPMI list will only be updated after 7th May. It is going to be a bit difficult to manage with the fees for both the institutes since I am going to have to pay to the one i have in hand and hope for a convert in TAPMI and then pay for TAPMI in case of a convert.
could any1 plz post some more details abt the placement stats of the college.... lowest sal, medial sal..companies/sector that has the highest pay package...
n does the college have any policy like 1 student can have only 1 offer...

Hey I got the refund money... However they have refunded 15,000/- out of 25,000... According to AICTE they can only keep 1000 and refund the entire amount. I have already emailed them regarding the same, but am still waiting for rply....
hi seniors! today i hv got my updated w/l no. i.e. 164. earlier it was 214. i have been called to nit trichy on 3rd May. i m w/l there but most probably will going to make it through. what shud i do now as tapmi will update the status after 7th as this will be a gamble if i skip the nit t counseling. what say? pls rply because i will have to submit the transfer cert. there. if i convert tapmi, will go for it but what about the TC. will the nit t authorities return it on time as it will be required in tapmi at the time of admission. will the xerox copy of the TC suffice at that time if i will produce it later on after getting back from nit t.? TIA
my initial waitlist no was 89 and got this msg in tapmi website now"The 2nd waitlist status is updated on 26th April and your present Waitlist No. is 39. Further updation will be made after 7th May 2012" hmmm have to wait bit more 😞

TAPMI PGDM is a non university course so u don.t need transfer certificate
