After the IIM k interview did we had to come back to sign some documents... Like in cap...or just leave?

Does anyone has any idea as to how much the general waitlist shifts for the newer iims? . Around what highest waitlist number was a general candidate able to convert any iim the previous year....
What is the size of buffer list this year ?? I am at waitlist 1 and still not sure if I should resign my job or not ?? Because K doesn't release any data.. Can anyone help me here??
