My experience in the application form has been given as 29 Months. However as on 31st March 2020, I have an experience of 31 Months. What will be considered for final selection process? Should I mail the Adcom to change the experience?

someone was explaining the 5 marks (i am fine with a smaller portion) to iit/nit passouts as fair bcz they cracked a competitive exam in the past and hence are somehow better than the rest. i cracked main and got air 15000 in advanced. got into a much better state govt. clg which closes at much lesser ranks as compared to many nit's. where did i go wrong? why do i not deserve those 5 marks? (i get other people pain as well this should never be a criteria that from where u passed out, makes no sense for me).this is the same as many companies offering higher packages to passouts from iit/nit just bcz they are there and others are not.

Hi All, In the excel i can see more than 100 GENERAL CATEGORY people with 51+ score ....that is still not the whole list of people who have given responses . So something can be analysed from that as cutoff will be more than 52 for nrml mba and more than 51 for mba telecom This may be valid if their selection criteria doesn't change but it may change. Of the 100 people 66 people had NIT/IIT tag :|. Many of them may reject and they can be heavy waitlist movement. Let's see what happens . I have an SI of 51.2 and i am doubtful of getting the call in first release.

Heard in a group, they are scrapping off the reserved seats this year due to no PI WAT being conducted, Hence All seats would be Unreserved(UR). Not sure about this , but been circulating in a group.

Here is my analysis, The extra 5 marks that is being given out to IIT/NIT students or females is equivalent to around 23 marks in actual raw CAT score, which is approximately a difference of 2-3%. So a non IIT/NIT GEM with a 99 perc will have same CS as a IIT/NIT GEM or a non IIT/NIT female with a 96 perc and IIT/NIT female with around 93-94 perc considering the remaining profile is similar for both. So, now most 99+ GEMs will have better calls and they will be leaving. So the other groups mentioned here will be left behind who will have IIT Delhi as their best call/or they will have the best chance of conversion. Thus the waitlist movement will be less compared to other years. This will reduce the overall median percentile of d batch as well as the quality of students in general. In this chaos other deserving high perc non IIT/NIT GEMs will fail to secure a call. Everyone is welcomed to give their views. This post is nothing against any group but just a simple analysis that l have done.
