Hey guys , So I’m just speculating here. When there was a fight on this group regarding the selection criteria There were many people who were arguing on this page asking each other to write mails etc. Then the Adcom told us that the final criteria along with the first list will be released directly on 29th May . I hope the people in charge of selection criteria (not the Adcom ) dont pull an FMS on us . That’s all I’m saying because it’s already too late and we were kept in the dark about the final selection criteria . I very much feel it will be the same as the SI score calculation and there will most probably be no change and the hope of a different criteria was just to stop all the commotion Again this is my personal opinion and let’s see what happens tomorrow . I hope that I’m wrong .

Guys, 

Can anyone explain the difference between the normal MBA and MBA(Telecom)? mainly on the below lines: 

Is there different placecom and placements for the two?

Are companies restricted to only one of it or open to both?

What is the strength of the students in both?

 Hi Guys, Got hold of the course curriculum. It says the Telecom folks have to do 6 credit course( 2 subjects) in telecom called "Focussed Electives"rest is same for both the courses. The telecom folks can choose other subject in marketing etc but the number of programe electives reduces to 18 compared to 24 for normal MBA.
