Xth- 78% CBSE
Xllth- 82% CBSE
Engineering- 7.5 CGPI (NIT)
Work Ex- 3yrs by the time i ll join some business clg thru cat-13
I know that my profile is average and I am not in any illusion to make into top-10 mba colleges.
My issue is whether there is any clg (preferably within top-25) which will accept a profile like mine if i ll be able to score, say a percentile upto 95. Plz reply

if you want in top 25 well, you have many i must say.
only colleges that dont like your profile are IIM ABKIS Spjain
IIM C only if your score >99.7%ile
IIM L only if your score >99.6
FMS>99
IITB>99
XL(XAT exam) shuld clear the cut off
MDI (>97 good chance) 95 you wil get a call. but doubtfull of converting
NMIMS(need to write NMAT)
SIBM(write SNAP)
IMT-G accepts at around 95
TAPMI KJS would happily accept your profile
Newer IIMs score>97
PS: assumed that you are a general male engineer (the worst possible combination anyone can have. and still majority f us have 😁 :D)

Need some help from experienced cat takers.. I gave my first attempt CAT-12 got 90.8X percentile, XAT13-92.XX %ile. I was a TIME student. I am planning to give CAT13. I will complete my graduation in june and will b working from july and will be free on weekends. should I join classes once more or are mock test series from coaching classes enough?Please help. I am in a dilemma.
@saikatha Honestly two 75s in ur CV is a kind of a death nail as far as IIM aspiration is concerned & even in future placements.... No matter how hard he tries, other than C, no old IIM may EVER call him, regardless of his CAT score.... Hard-luck to him :(

@TONYMBA Nahi bhai 😛 Aisa Mat bol.... My teachers think that under current circumstances 99.55 may be too low to convert my dream ones, ABL 😞 [Considering I am Gen+Male+Engg+non-IIT/NIT/BITS, the worst combination in India :(] GMAT diya tha so that when i complete 2.5yrs work-ex in 2014, I can apply to ISB bcoz frankly I am losing faith in the IIMs....

ISB ke liye profile alag type ka tagda hona chahiye and 2 and half years ex will not suffice....aur ABL mein GD/WAT/PI acha karo...ho jaega....PI vl be the make or break

Amader aagei class e bolechilo je ebar they are giving 5 marks to girls STRAIGHTAWAY which is too huge a gap to bridge considering everything gets halved in IIM-K criteria....which means there is NO DIFFERENCE b/w a boy with 100%ile & a girl with 90%ile.... So WB board e jara 94 up nei, tara maar khabe khub, THIS YEAR. Shetai to ami bolechilam jeta te tui koto ki blte start korli.... Do u know that this year a boy from a certain school called Al-Ameen Mission (dont know where its located) with 93 in both Secondary & HS did'nt get a call, proving what they had forewarned us to be true.... Bekar lore ki labh..... Chill mar na bhai, amra face korchi, jani to nischoi kara rejected holo....

ar ektah katha al ameen mission is widely regarded as one of best school of Inida in terms of faculty...and oder board WB board nah.....ota Madrasha Board(a seperate Board for Indian Muslims):)
@TONYMBA Woh sab change ho gaya yaar 1 saal pehle....YLP course introduce hi isliye kiya so that ppl with GREAT profile can enter ISB immediately on completing 2yrs work-ex.... I had a talk with 2 faculty members of ISB (via my brother who is an ISB alum). They said that since my GMAT score is very high (when compared to ISB) and there are only a handful of students there with 760-770, that will be a huge bonus. I have a strong profile already, so I have solid chance to enter if I can further strengthen my CV in the next 15 months.... YLP students with 2 yrs work-ex will anyways be entering next year, so taking another 2.5 yr wala guy will not be a big deal if i can impress them in the PI.
