So WB board e jara 94 up nei, tara maar khabe khub, THIS YEAR. Shetai to ami bolechilam jeta te tui koto ki blte start korli.... Do u know that this year a boy from a certain school called Al-Ameen Mission (dont know where its located) with 93 in both Secondary & HS did'nt get a call, proving what they had forewarned us to be true.... Bekar lore ki labh..... Chill mar na bhai, amra face korchi, jani to nischoi kara rejected holo....[PS- I really hope u are a bengali, else all this message will be useless ]

@TONYMBAWoh sab change ho gaya yaar 1 saal pehle....YLP course introduce hi isliye kiya so that ppl with GREAT profile can enter ISB immediately on completing 2yrs work-ex.... I had a talk with 2 faculty members of ISB (via my brother who is an ISB alum). They said that since my GMAT score is very high (when compared to ISB) and there are only a handful of students there with 760-770, that will be a huge bonus. I have a strong profile already, so I have solid chance to enter if I can further strengthen my CV in the next 15 months.... YLP students with 2 yrs work-ex will anyways be entering next year, so taking another 2.5 yr wala guy will not be a big deal if i can impress them in the PI.@chandrakant.k Yeah for ISB u have to have a very well rounded profile.... Yes, they dont have any pre-determined criteria like 80+ throughout or 90 in any two but u can be rest assured that someone with average acads will find it VERY tough to convert [Its ranked 20th in the WORLD afterall yaar] unless u have very good ECs or EMPHATIC work-ex. [Like Ravinder Singh applied to ISB with pretty average acads but he was a NATIONAL BEST-SELLER. He would never get an IIM call though ].

And ei cheletai na Indore na Kozhikode theke call peyeche.... Tai bolchilam bhai....

sorry for posting but among older IIMs you have only IIM C in ur hand coz of grad score as your achilles heel
dnt forget to tell the L's name as they r giving 3 marks to non engineers...SO i think a non engineer with 98.5+,excellent 10 12 marks,moderate grad marks and that extra 3 marks can get a call:D...and thaks god i m a non engineer.....and i didnt give my last one 1 and half sem coz of cat...usikeh chalteh grad marks less:D..cat bhi gaya..only 80...:(... now trying to make it to near about 65...

@ThankYou If your basics are clear and you just need some more practise then i would suggest you to take mocks only because if you know all the fundas and formulas in advance u'll feel bored in the class and that would be a sheer wastage of tym.
