I had 18 arrears during my btech and due to my internals being mostly single digit(even had 2 big 0s ) i had to had record university marks simply to pass an exam and still it took my % way down...Battled my way through it and cleared Btech...I have 21 months work ex as an electrical design engineer...I resigned in september to prepare for CAT 2012...But i had an accident and broke my foot and the preparations took its toll...Had a horrible CAT experience that has been torturing me mentally...i am having an option to take up a contract job in refinery here...i want to take up the job due to personal issues...i turned 25 two days ago...i am not sure whether i should try once more for CAT as my awful graduation score would eliminate me from most top b schools and also my age which is another factor... am i overaged to do an MBA from india??... i am also an NC OBC candidate... Can someone guide me on what to do??... also,would the work in electrical field make it tougher for me during GD PI(i know i am going far,but still)...

@Baggio10 No doubt that ur graduation percentage is too low and u'll hardly get any marks for graduation but still don't loose hope u r nc-obc (biggest advantage) and u have no idea how lower the nc obc cut offs go as far as cat percentile and new IIMs are concerned plus ur X,XII marks are really nyc and u have wrok ex too. i would suggest you that please continue with some work and prepare religiously for CAT. If u get very high CAT score u can even try for IIMC.
@sarikagupta As u ve a commerce background lyk me,u can get some priviledges from IIMs @ d tym of admission.And u ve also mentioned dat u r weak in maths as most commerce grad are due to deir academics structure,but be clear whether u r strong in V.A n R.C. Coz CAT is sumthng about knowing ur weakness as well as strength n working on dem accordingly...I've nt dun it dats y i didnt get any call 4m good colleges as i screwed up in Quant.Have confidence n go on,U can do it if u regularly analyse d mocktests u ve given.All d best SARIKA

When does the test series for TIME start and which is the package that we should take(they have 2-3 packages on their site). And what is the best price for which we can get the test series.
Apart from TIME should one take any other test series?

according to L, MSc Statistics does not contribute to course diversity. Neither do MSc Physics & Chemistry. All equivalent to engineering somehow. so He didn't Get course diversity marks here . 😃
