Hii....I will b giving CAT 2013 frm Bangalore...m in a bit of dilemma whether or not to join a coaching institute....actually earlier I had given CAT 2011 nd got 93%tile..was a classroom student in TIME Kolkata...have all the TIME materials with me..this yr I have enrolled for the MBAfunda course of testfunda....I am in a bit of confusion whether or not to join CL classroom coaching or take CL correspondence material in Bangalore...bcos earlier I studied in TIME, so this yr I want to go for CL (either classroom or correspondence)...so which one should I go for? Classroom coaching of CL or either study materials?Plz help with some valuable advice seniors..
hey
since u have enrolled in testfunda and have already attended a classroom coaching in past there is no need to join classroom coaching again..all u need to do is just go through the concept again and practice...testfunda material is really good..i would suggest join the test series rather than the correspondence course.

Hi, I'm in a dilemma whether to take CAT/GMAT .
1)My situation is such that by the next acdemic year I should get into top tier B-school(which in india is getting unreliable due to heavy competion except for 98% + scores)
2) I'm ready to spend 25-30lakhs for complete package (tution fee+boarding)
3)Will I be able to take back my invested amount of 30lakhs if I study abroad in mid tier B-SCHOOL within a year of getting a job and will I get a job in INDIA that matches my profile after specialising MBA in marketing abroad .
Pls guide me.

Hi Guys,

I have given CAT 2012 and got 94.6 percentile by preparing for 4 months. Now i want to crack CAT 2013.I haven't joined any institute.I am just following the standard books required for CAT.please anyone guide me regarding the prep

Hey guys....

I had given CAT 2012, poor performance in VA(88 %), but my quant is strong.I had joined TIME CP center...now i am preparing again and thinking of joining coaching, but it was a scene as lost in crowd in TIME, so now thinking of joining Tathagat delhi(heard from a freind abt it), but had not enough idea....

i checked sites, forums, pdf...number system, geometry...from that i am getting a feeling that they are more focused for Quant, and also i could not find their previous CAT results anywhere...

Please help me...as what i need basically is to make VA section very strong.....

Pls suggest
@amit_0110 Hi...i also wanna know abt tathagat...please share info if u got ny abt them......
With a little dilemma I am writing this. I am an engg. grad passed in 2006. With more than 6 yrs of experience now i feel a need of doing MBA. Obviously the best choice is IIMs. But from the selection criteria of different institutes it seemed that the doors are almost closed for experienced persons like me. Now I am in dilemma whether I should target for PGPX only, or still there is a chance of PGP. pls advise.

@meetparikh Dear Parikh, Number System,Geometry & Algebra are two topics you should cover thoroughly to do well in most of the competitive exams. In Number System you could do - ratio proportion, percentages, time speed & distance, number properties, remainder theorem et al. You could start off with mathematics ebooks from CBSE board ( online) and then do sectional tests from any of the coaching material stuff to build up your strategy.
All the best!
