What is the process for a WL candidate to let FMS know he/she should be considered for the next list?
Is it true that fms student body asks for and additional fee of around 50k each year. And one has to pay that fee to be eligible for placements? And this fee is not an official one but for the students body to manage and spend it on parties, their allowances and other activities of different committees like cultural, placecomm etc? If so with the new fees hike will this unofficial fee of 1lakh also increase?
Is there any chance for the waitlist to be extended? Like if someone is not in the released waitlist currently is there any chance that he/she might be considered in the later stages depending on the movement of the waitlist ?

Thought I'd throw some light on the FMS vs A/B/C discussions that go on in the comment sections, based on my interactions.
People often talk about RoI, but forget that IIM A/B/C are the only Indian B-schools in the top 100 international (other than ISB-H). It is international reputation that actually matters in the long run. Your peers who study abroad pay lots more for a similarly ranked school. That is RoI for you, from the larger perspective.
The real confusion lies in choosing between XLRI or IIM-L (and maybe K) and FMS. All are equally good. IIM-L/XLRI offer campus experience and international exchange (and of course the IIM tag), while FMS offers RoI.
If you haven't been fortunate enough to study undergrad in an amazing campus like the IIT(s) then you might be looking forward to campus life. So choose wisely.
