What to do??
This is a post just highlighting a few repercussions this brazen decision by the FMS management could have on the 20-22 batch, their reputation, even the admission process. This directly or indirectly impacts the brand value. One more thing, I did not have an admission at stake and am myself an engineer, so this is not intended to bash the college for not admitting me, it's just a comment on the unfair policy of admission. 1) Reputation and Batch: The batch of 2020-22 would consist primarily of engineers, maybe even as high as 95%+, and regardless of how much PagalGuy thinks engineers are wronged by every B-school, please think from the perspective of recruiters, industry stakeholders, AND the fact that a B School is supposed to be an amalgamation of students from various backgrounds, that can contribute and exchange unique ideas. Moreover, there is a reason why interviews are conducted. Acing it on the "D-Day" is not an indicator that you're set for B-School or a good fit, it's a test of aptitude; not a test of personality. Go over the past year interview scores, and you'll realise that interviews acted as a balancing point to bring bright personalities and suitable students to the institute. If still not convinced, think if all the hiring across companies occurred directly through JUST an online test. 2) Admission Process: I might be overestimating this, but there could be a major possibility that out of the initial admitted lists released, majority would have gotten an admit from ABCL (general cutoff with good acads being around 99.85, approx). The wait list could also get exhausted, correct me if I'm wrong, but it COULD happen. 3) Brand Value: The delay in decision making, illogical final decision, saturation in the batch profile, and a high concentration of academic personalities: all of these have/ will impact the image of FMS, honestly doubt if it could be for the better. To all those who made it, a hearty congratulations, FMS depends on you all to shine through, even prove that admission policies such as these turn out well practically! To all those who didn't, don't get disheartened - there might be a better outcome out there waiting for you :)
Quick question guys can there be an error in calculations.. I have a 10/10 in 10th and 12th and a better score in LR/DI and Quant compared to Verbal but still my rank is lower as compared to the initial list.. Any clues

I know this is gonna infuriate a lot of bhakts but aaj jin logo ka convert nhi hua woh log Modi ji ko bahut kos rhe hai,man has got no plan and is just keeping extending the lockdown indefinitely ,aur FMS waalo ke bhi kya kehne kuch din aur wait nhi kar sakte the ,classes toh waise bhi chalu late se hi karoge cause u have no infrastructure for online classes and if u have infrastructure for online classes then hum logo ka online pi lene me tumhara kya jaa rha tha? Forget 1000 rs refund but we aspirants do deserve a proper explanation,and apne institute ke naam se management shabd hata do toh behtar hai kyunki students koh bade bade lecture dete ho adaptibility and crisis management ke upar but jab khud pe padi toh apne responsibilities se bhaag gaye
