Waitlisted 221. Only have KJ in hand. Going by the responses below, I assume I'll convert it. My query is when the final list could be out as I've got to ask for the refund.

Congratulations to the converts of the first list of IIM Amritsar, and all the best to the waitlisted candidates! I am answering a few repetitive querries below: 1. What was last years waitlist movement? - Last year trends General around 2200 OBC - around 750 SC - around 600 But the scenario is a lot different right now, we advice you to consider these trends with a pinch of salt. Any guesses on w/l movement at this time would be misleading to the aspirants, as their decision to opt for other b schools is linked to it. Please be patient till the second list comes out, we will have a better clarity of where we are headed this year. 2. What is the fee structure for two years? - Total fees: 10.5 L (9L college fees + 1.5L hostel & mess)+ 25K (security deposit). This has to be paid in six installments (1.5 L before every trimester). Has the number seats increased vis-a-vis last year?
Since another list is just around the corner and based on last year trends and other factors (increase of seats in some iims) I have a strong feeling i should convert. Request your suggestions. In case you differ my opinion/options please comment.

Is the waitlist different for CAP & EML ??
Guys I am a direct reject of IIM AMRITSAR, but I do think candidates with waitlist shouldn't be hopeful. Reason iss baar eml ko bulaya hai and woh logon ko bhi conversion mila hai, last year there was no such thing as eml and the converted fellows were from Old and new iims, they opted for those. Abki baar unhe bhi conversion shayad hi mila hai, jo IIM Calcutta mein select ho gaya uska patta eml waale ne kaat liya lol. But jealousy apart zyada movement nahi hoga.
Can someone please give the waitlist movement last year for IIM amritsar...how much did the list moved last year??
I am waitlisted at 343 NC OBC. What are my chances depeding on the fact that last year it moved upto 750+.
