There isnt much difference between EML or CAP students.But still EML converts are more than happy and CAP converts are wondering whether to join Amritsar or not. And to counter EML students if they couldn't qualify for CAP because of 95.99 then at the same time many couldn't have converted for EML because of the same difference. So dont doubt the capabilty of any aspirant who has a better percentile than you.
My point is whatever may be the difference in percentiles everyone should think twice between joining amritsar and waiting for one more year.Amritsar today is equivalent to TAPMI or IRMA. And holding back for one more year can get you a 2nd gen IIM or even NMIMS easily.
P.S This is my personal opinion.Dont consider this as negative publicity.

What can be the maximum waitlist movement on 7th June?? For General category? ?
Dear Aspirants, We are ready to accept your opinions and are here to encourage healthy discussion. But lately, we are receiving a lot of unwanted attention with baseless claims. We have left no stone unturned when it comes to providing information, be it about the admission process, placements, student activies, or infrastructure well in time. This doesn't seem to be a coincidence. We advice you to do a thorough research on various parameters like Brand equity, the timeline and quality of placements, student activities, faculty, ROI and other similar factors which you consider important to achieve your career goals rather than blindly being carried away by any misleading posts. We understand that choosing a B-school can be a life changing decision, hence we request you to trust only those suggestions which you think are coming from trusted sources like the Adcom members, alumni or people whom you can trust and are in this industry for a considerable amount of time ( like your coaching institute ), they can understand your career goals and can guide you correctly. Remember that when someone else's admission in a particular institute is also dependent on your decision to take it or leave it, they might mislead you or try to influence your opinions with their vested interests. Make a well informed and rational decision and don't get carried away by misleading posts. All the best for your future endeavors!

I have to apply for my fees refund at TIME institute, but they are denying it( I have given them every proof but they are asking for that particular interview venue pdf). The waitlist system can be improved to be more dynamic in which there will be real time display of waiting status.
Those who definitely don't want to join will simply decline and the list will be updated instantly.
Those who want to join should accept and pay the booking fees in two days otherwise their candidature will be lost.
If they have to directly reject the candidate then what is the purpose of calling the candidate for further process?? Eml candidates have a far more advantage than the cap ones.. this process completly sucks.. Iim amritsar says u are not in this present list.. no wl no. and nothing..

Do not join baby IIMs if you have less than one year of work experience. Join only if you are not in a position to take CAT again. And people with more than 3-4 years experience will face the heat of the market two years down the line.
Think about it and give CAT2017 a chance and aim for old IIMs.
When people discriminate even between ABC and L,K,I then think where would you stand if you take admission in a baby IIM and look for a job.
