We would like to point out beforehand that the chances of clearing the waitlist depends solely on what those before you will choose to do, and subsequent waitlists depend upon the discretion of the faculty. Talking about chances of conversion will be mere conjecture with no real weight. Also, IITK is better than any other institute you may have a call from, so there's that ;)
