Are students of mba program in iit kanpur eligible for internal exchange program or international imerssion program ?

I have been offered the MBA(Marketing) program at IMT Ghaziabad and the MBA(General) program at IIT Kanpur. I do not have any particular inclination towards marketing and in fact would ideally like to expose myself to all the subjects during the first year/ semester and then accordingly decide my specialisation. What would be the best choice in this situation?               

Profile: GEM, 15 months of work ex in a KPO, CAT-94.50, B.Tech(ECE)-75%, 12th-84%, 10th-91.57%

Seniors, could you please give an idea about the waitlist movement from last year? I am at waitlist # 6 for IME and confirmed for IIT Roorkee, so need to decide whether to submit fee for IIT R or not.

i was reading the placement report of kanpur and got 1 doubt that isnt it a bit weird that highest is 12.5 and avg is 10.5 .also it was written based on total ctc offered per student and 3 student had multiple offers. So does it mean that while calculating the ctc of those 3 with multiple offers were double counted i.e both their offers were counted?
