Adcom has to clarify why people who have been waitlisted for ghaziabad are not even being considered for nagpur/hyd. You have to understand how demoralizing it is for the aspirants who have scored high percentiles and still not being considered for other courses. Guys please upvote this so that they can reply to it

Is anyone planning to go through with the DCP program or are you going to wait for other calls?
Wonderful. What a way to play IMT. Its for the first time i have seen that cut off is declared after the final shortlists. Wahhh...🙏🏻 What a management IMT. You earn alot using your brand name. I have been shortlisted for DCP, the program that i didn’t even select in my application. And In the application form we were asked choices not the priority. No doubt you are a very good institute. But still this was not expected from IMT. In interview i was grilled on one question...”How to run businesses?” Despite being from engineering background i answered it well. But today i ask you IMT, Is this the way businesses are run.? Dishonesty? Changing of statements? (Choices changed to priorities?) What way are you bringing up to take out the hard earned money of the innocent students next year, IMT.? Atleast i want to know “How the businesses are run?”
Any how congrats to the ones who converted. You really deserve it.
P.S- No complaints regarding the selection procedure. But change of “Choices” to “priorities” and the cut off released after the final shortlist was really disgusting.

Guys, I am going to be very honest here. I have a cat percentile of 95 and my pi went absolutely great. I could answer all questions and I am honestly not bragging, but i surely thought I would convert my first preference for imt.( I am sure most of you felt that way too and got extremely disappointed with the results). When the results came, I converted the banking and financial services programme and was stunned. Now i understand that some of you might feel that I felt that the interview went great but it really might not have. But to that I would like to say that this was my best interview so far and I converted all other calls that i sat for some of them being better institutes in terms of ranking. But i read the posts of many of us guys and felt that there was something really going on here. Here is what I have to say to the management, each of us have dreams and hopes and have put in so much effort. The result is absolutely unfair to us and our families. There are students who genuinely wanted to join your institute and would have turned out to be excellent students who are now not going to do so. I hope all your (the students') efforts are going to pay off and hopefully you all get calls from other colleges who value your energy, time and intelligence.
IMT lost their brand and respect today (at least in my eye). Declaring cut offs after the final merit list? Like seriously? Firstly, only PI was a huge sign that you guys are least interested about taking the right talent pool. Then came the quality of institute passed. Are you expecting all NITs and IITs this year? Sorry to burst your bubble then.
We all went with great expectations, only (maybe only for me) to be incessantly grilled in the PI. So people like myself did not have any other chance to do well (GD/WAT in other colleges). Then comes the wait, so effectively you made us wait without even making us realize that it was all for nought. This is like promising a kid a bar of chocolate and later telling that he doesn't even deserve it in the first place.
To people who are defending IMT (saying people whose interviews did not go well obviously did not convert), you do realize what declaring cut-offs after the final shortlists mean right? By IMTs own logic, someone who has less than 93 but managed to thoroughly impress the panel should get in (decent enough academics), but even with a steller profile they could not get the core courses owning to the 90/93 barrier.
Lastly, forcing people DCP or making a separate cut off for it (even if that is made at the end) won't make the sensible ones join the same. A marketing focussed college should have thought of the implications of such a step on their Brand Equity as angry rants like mine will spill over to Quora, Facebook and other platforms. So IMT, while you sit on piles of Rs 2030, know this, such actions definitely have consequences, maybe not today but definitely tomorrow.

Lol IMT adcom is smoking some cheapest crack and weed available out there. This 90 and 93 cut off debacle is complete bullshit to sway us from the truth. Well can't complain tbh since this is the kind of manipulation of masses we ourselves would go on to do in future after joining management roles in corporates and conglomerates 😂😂 (True story). Anyway, back to the the topic at hand, why is this bullshit, you say? Because Many 93+ have gotten DCP while few < 93 have reported non-DCP PGDM calls as well. This renders their rationales completely invalid. They are giving absolutely fake explanations since they don't have any reasonable and rational elucidation to the most popular questions since yesterday: "Why have I been allotted a program I didn't even select?" and "Why aren't there separate waitlists or rejection status for distinct individual courses?". This shit is memeworthy tbh. Petition to make memes on adcom and staff of IMT. Anybody interested?
I clealrly remember someone posting about 93 percentile being the cut off for IMT Ghaziabad this time. He was an aspirant and had mentioned that someone from the Admission Commitee had told him. This was before the letters were sent out.
So, this was all planned then? I find it hard to believe that the institute decided another cut off after they had already receive the pool of applicants.

Can someone please explain to me what is the purpose of stating that the cut off for IMT G PGDM was 93percentile if people who have scored more than that are waitlisted?? Doesnt that defeat the whole meaning of the word cut off?? By the way i have 96.9 percetile in CAT with acads as follows X-93.1%/XII-75.3%/Grad-8.05 CGPA with 19 months of work experience in IT. Any clarification to this is most welcome.

Dear all, We have maintained from the beginning that the cutoffs may vary depending upon the pool of candidates. An applicant’s candidature for a seat depends on many factors apart from CAT score, such as past academic record, relevant work experience, performance in PI and overall profile; a high CAT/XAT score doesn’t mean entitlement to a seat. When an applicant applies for IMT Ghaziabad campus, his/her candidature is automatically considered for the DCP programme too. The DCP is an IMT Ghaziabad programme with the students from both - two-year PGDM and DCP PGDM - sitting together for final placement. For people saying that they haven't applied for dcp and got a call letter for the same , we have already mentioned that dcp is a ghaziabad program so people getting dcp is purely on the merit score after all the parameters have been taken in consideration. We have the list of converts with us, and saying that most students with high percentile have been offered DCP is baseless. Also, in the current batch of IMT, we have students with percentiles ranging from 90.xx to 99.xx IMT has a huge pool of candidates applying, and we do realise that those who didn’t convert any programme/programme of their choice are upset. But this is not the channel or way to vent out and spew hate. Wishing all of you the best for your future endeavours! Regards Admissions Committee

1. Is there international Exchange/Immersion programmes scope as part of curriculum or we can opt in if such facility available?
