@Anubha.imt tell us what is the current summer internship scenario @ imt-n. are stipends being offered? for the final placements of ur batch and the previous which sector companies recruited the most e.g. fmcg, ites, etc and what profiles were offered to the marketing and hr streams ?
@DENGUEKILLS For the summer internship, a lot of companies visited the campus this year and are still participating in the SIP process. Companies like Asian paints, IDBI life insurance, Leo burnet, E Clerx, Bank of Baroda, IFB, Relaince entertainment, IMI mobile, Mott Mcdonald etc picked students. Infact i got my SIP today :)so i'll b more than pleased to tell you about it :P
The stipend is anywhere from 25 k to 5k depending on the profile offered and the company.
The sectors that come for recruitment are banks, IT companies, FMCGs, consultancy.
Companies come for all profiles- Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, IT.

@Anubha.imt can you please throw some light on the current placement scenario of finance batch..when i came for gdpi on 8th feb at imt-n campus there guys told me that the scene is bad for finance guys as banks and other finance companies are not coming this year..
@nik25 Niket, yes its true there are few companies for Finance this year. Looking at the market scenario it makes sense when companies say that they dont have requirement and thats what happened with our mass recruiters for Finance this year.
