1. Since your query is so specific (marketing profile just of IT sector) i believe someone from placecom will help you regarding that.
2. College provides us with SIP as far as possible. But some ppl also have to reach out their own sources. There are only a few students in placement cell as you said but they work for the entire batch.
3. I am not sure what you wanna knw. Elaborate
@pranoyhyd No. If students are waitlisted, they will recieve a call or a mail regarding the same. There is no list whether it is for the students selected or the students who may have a chance to be selected.

@birla The process will only begin now for cmat students. Till now the shortlisted ones are through CAT.
