In september CMAT , i scored 166 & got a rank 9372. i have also gave CAT xam & i am optimystic about my CAT result.

can i fill the form with both scores so that best of my scores would be considered would be GDPI call ? @Anubha.imt

@mbajamesbond @adityaindicat I have friends in IMT N as well as others who I had interacted during GD/PI . None had reservations.

Ohk which means if a percentile drops till 50 55 then also there is a chance?

There is a single form for IMT. Based on what percentile you qualify with, you will be given a call for the Campus that you are eligible for. The last day of registeration is 10th December. I will advice you not to follow people who give you randon information. A cut-off of 80 percentile is a clear message in itself.

You were selected for IMT-N (as you qoute and as you want us to believe) , with a percentile of above 80-82 percentile in CAT and XAT. That in itself should give you an assurance of the cut offs or else you would not be selected. As per your doubt regarding some people you know with lower percentiles getting selected, I advice you to not mislead people based on your insufficient, baseless info obtained via him or her. however i agree with you on the fact that the infrastructure, faculty and IMT as a brand is unparalleled.

I believe you should apply. You seem to be optimistic regarding your CAT score which is good as IMT takes the best score out of all the given percentiles in CAT, XAT or CMAT. not filling up the form wont be a wise decision as its a one time investment. I'll advice you to take your chances. Ultimately the decision is always yours. :)

@Anubha.imt I dont have any intention to mislead people in whatever way :)... IMT too clearly had said last time around on their site that above 50 percentile may apply. (public knowledge) Regarding info, its not baseless. Certainly not via someone. Its first hand. I was only trying to help or so now I wont. No problemo.

@gurmoksh I am an IMT student myself here just to help people who have any queries regarding admission procedure. Quoting something that has not been officially said anywhere is called misleading information. And you are certainly welcome to TRY and help anyone. But as you are not a student at a B school like IMT-N, automatically your credibility is much less. If YOU have any queries regarding admission you may ask me or else I'll move onto some important, serious queries at hand.

Really thank you! A/c to that link my CMAT %ile turn out to be 85.Should I apply for IMT-N on CMAT %ile considering the fact that my CAT was not upto the marks.

@a2k See that is upto you. I am not the right person to tell you whats right and wrong. I am sure you'll be a better judge regarding your performance in the entrance tests and probable results. :)
