haha.. No philosophy. I just meant that i am not allowed to comment on whether someone may get shortlisted or not. But as the cut off is 80 percentile you definitely have a chance. So you can apply if u think its right.

@coabond What you can do is fill up the form right now. When your feb scores come out, you wont have to fill up another form. you can go to IMT-N's website and update your previous scores. IMT-N is not a university so it does not offer an MBA but a PGDM.

U mentioned here about updating score, after the FEB cmat results will be declared.
But FEB cmat results will be out on MARCH 3.
If one will scroll back to reading the previous posts u did clearly stated about GD/PI starting from FEBRUARY and EXTENDS till MARCH sometimes. that means shortlisting of candidates is done via SEP scores So how is it possible to update the scores so late, after 3 March .
PLEASE CONFIRM WITH THE AUTHORITIES SUCH CONTRADICTION STIRS IN CONFUSION.
@michael.westen I think u r correct. But when we took admissions, there was no scene of CMAT, so regarding CMAT, u ppl are much more experienced than us ;).
See the B School business depends upon the people who apply, so if the institute doesn't get enough 'good' candidates, it wud certainly wait for more candidates. But when u r late, the early bird always gets a better chance. So I think its poetic justice that if a guy scores more than in u in Sept CMATa dn gets shortlisted in any college, then its almost fair, coz u got that 6 months extra to prepare.

So can u confirm with administration what will be the exact scenario this year. All colleges have a definite say on the CMAT criteria. We know about IMT and CAT policy.
But please confirm with IMT management regarding their Equity with SEP and FEB cmat scores their acceptance and shortlisting .
so that will help other aspirants to fill up the form and will have a vivid idea.

Can I apply to IMT now with CMAT FEB 2013 roll no and XAT ID ...and keep the scores blank for now and update it later when they are made available? I also would like to know...if work ex is given importance over scores while shortlisting candidates for GD/PI round or is it just the scores that matter for a candidate to qualify for GD/PI round? Which banks or financial institutions visit the campus for placements?
@nmat222 Your probablity of getting a call is high. you must apply for IMT-N. The institute has great infrastructure, be it IT lab, classrooms or hostels. The library has got a vast collection of nationally and internationally acclaimed titles and there are student run initiatives like a departmental store, printing and laundry facility, food etc. Its a residential course for two years. thus IMT-N takes care of the comforts of the students. The biggest asset of IMT-N is the faculty. We have highly learned faculty from IIMs, IITs and various foreign universities. Talking about the placement, (as i have mentioned earlier) 40 students have already been placed this year with the highest of 9.65 lacs package and and the average package is 8 lacs till now.
@Abhi_Padwal is imt nagppur accepting feb cmat scores also hav registerd for feb cmat but didnt get any roll no. how u gt plz am worried too much kj ditched me
@kjsomaiya : Hey buddy even I am trying to get the queries solved....They will accept CMAT FEB 2013 score ....I gues thats wat they have mentioned on their website....even I dint get any roll numbr for feb cmat ... was just trying to know what exact details were required!... dont worry much ....I gues Roll Nos for CMAT exams are disclosed only when admit letters are out....
