 If 1st 1000 people fill PGDM core as 1st preference, IB as 2nd and rank 1001 fill IB as 1st preference. Then rank 1001 will be getting IB before 1st 1000 people ???

I have a couple of basic queries: 


1. Mess charges are included in the hostel fees, right? I am not able to find the mess fees on the website. 

2. Does the hostel have a common washroom for an entire floor or are students provided with an attached washroom with their hostel room? 

3. Can I have a minor course along with my major specialization? I plan to pursue PGDM - FS as my major but I am also interested in marketing. Is this something that's possible?

*Important* There has been some confusion about the online seat allotment process. While filling up the course preferences please fill the courses in order of your preference, however the seats will be alloted for a particular course to that person who holds higher rank and has applied to that course. Eg: Suppose students of SIMSR ranking 1-500 have given PGDM FS as their 1st preference and PGDM IB as their 2nd preference then, students having rank 1-60 will get alloted with PGDM-FS and students with rank 61-120 will get alloted with PGDM-IB. Students with SIMSR rank 61-500 will be waitlisted for PGDM FS course however the next 60 students will get alloted with PGDM-IB since it was their 2nd preference. So students from rank 121-500 will be waitlisted for both the courses and will be alloted the seat as per movement in the waitlist.
