Lovely Professional University is a private university located in Chaheru, Phagwara, Punjab, India. The university was established in 2005 by Lovely International Trust, under The Lovely Professional University Act, 2005 and started operation in 2006.

Train — Travel through train till Jalandhar cantt railway station, get out of the station, catch a private bus enroute Ludhiana - Ambala comes right in front of station. It will take hardly 10–15 minutes in bus till LPU and 10–20 rs fare which depends. You can go by auto and cab also from station, but bus is the effecient option until you have a luggage load.

Bus — I’m assuming you’re coming from Delhi — Ambala — Ludhiana route. LPU is right in the way between Phagwara and Jalandhar on the Delhi GT road. So when you reach Phagwara it takes hardly 10 minutes to LPU, which you should be informing the conductor beforehand.

This is the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)

Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.

For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.

In LPU to get a decent placement you need to maintain a minimum of 7 CGPA. However if you are taking admission in MBA or BTech in CSE or IT like programmes then you should try to always score more than 7 cgpa (as much as you can).

you must have got at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA in your graduation .You have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the respective programme to take admission at LPU. . In certain courses LPUNEST is mandatory, like if you are seeking admission in B.Tech, MBA courses then LPUNEST is madatory, without LPUNEST you are not eligible for admission, However in certain courses like BA, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory, you can get admission based on your previous qualification.
The LPUNEST 2022 pattern of the exam is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). LPUNEST Exam Pattern 2022 has a total of 4 subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English. LPUNEST is not much easy as well as not much difficult. If you do hard work and you have a good knowledge of topics which will be asked in LPUNEST, then surely you will qualify the test. LPUNEST is an online test (Fully MCQs) with no negative marking. No negative marking in the test is a positive point for you.

There are so many trainings and internships opportunities are given to the students throughout their academic year. LPU houses a CISCO Training Academy at its premises providing hands-on-training to the students in the field of Network Security and Configuration.
Live Projects: Live Project opportunities with companies in all fields, some of the live projects might go on for over a month with stipend as well. Some of the live projects included were with Decathlon Live Project(22 days Operational Shifting of one store to another location), Sony India Pvt Ltd(Marketing and Sales) and etc. The students will have to go through at-least one live project.
