Suppose you if you study in good envorment and all and studying in ok enviorment what would be better ? For finance particualr its kalkaji . see in mat scolledges packages is same just depend on cailiber how you represent in interview

yes this is the reality, if you are looking for finance as specialization then please do look for a placment yourself not in jims but in almost every Mat b-school...JIMS mein jo finance ki cos aati hai are very great brands but the thing is the number of companies are very less so...faculty of finance is really good.

after reading all the things jaipuria noida hi sahi lag raha hai kisi ne uski burai toh kri hi nahi

1st of ol i would just like to correct you about the environment in JIMS rohini, its good to study here and so are the faculties for finance and marketing...i dunno who told you that environment is not good here...if you are going for Kalkaji then go ahead, its another campus of JIMS rohini(Flagship campus of JIMS umbrealla)...JIMS kalkaji had a decent placement this year(got to know from some friends there), almost at par with JIMS rohini but still JIMS rohini is a preferred campus...and one more thing there is no centralized placements in JIMS so kalkaji and Rohini operate separately

Wahan average package 14,0000 sey 18,000 tak package jaa raha hai. 5.45 lacs spend karkey koi 16,000 ki job kyun karega. 25 to 30,000k bhi bahut rare jaata hai. Yeh tou abhie fresh feedback hai JIMS rohini sec 5 kaa.JRE tou mujhey kisi ney recommend kiyaa thaa tabhie meiney naam bolaa. But i want to know from you which college for MBA is better 1. JIMS, Rohini sec 5, Jaypee, Noida 3.IMS gahziabad.4. BIMM, Pune 5.chirst, bangaluru. 6.Apeejay, dwarka..?

@Gursimar2 ab gursimar sir, iss forum par sabhie freshers hee hain aur 5 lakh yaa 7 lakh koi chotaa amount nahee hotaa. Parents ki poorie life ki savings lag jaatee hai, MBA karwaaney mein tou dost iss forum mein har question important hai...chahey wo bachkaana hoo yaa logical hoo. Every question is important in this forum. None of the question on this forum can be called as silly or immature. If you have any knowledge about the colleges please recommend us the best once which provides better ROI?
yaar dekho MBA kisi bhi college se karlo aaj ki date mein Be it JIMS or JRE or Christ or BIMM placment ka rona sab mein hi hai but atleast target those who are well established and have good brand image in industry...JIMS ke packages ki baat hai toh let it be clear that jitne packages JIMS mein aa rahe hai almost same hi Ndim, Amity, IILM, Jaipuria sab mein aate hai chahe wo 15k ke ho ya 30k ke...I totally agree itne paise laga kar kisi ko khushi nai milegi k 15-20k ka hi package lag raha ho, but what can you do in bad market condition ? Compromise and wait till something good comes...maine bhi bhai loan le rakha hai aur ghar vaalo ko ek nayi musibat de di hai but as a fresher I think its better to start in a good company at low packages then to start in companies unknown offereing high packages( fer targets achieve nai honge aur wo nikaal denge)...When I joined JIMS I expected minimum salary of 30-40k in hand but as I progressed I saw I need to first learn things practically and then demand for high salaries...Colleges are just to provide you entry into corporate environment and if any college does that successfully then its a good B-school...JIMS sirf maximum placement k liye jana jata hai not for higher packages, plus lower fees and quality education...ab khud dekho kya thik hai...iss saal JIMS ka burra haal hai, last year our seniors were almost placed

@Gursimar2 front line sales means the target oriented job of selling products ?? like for example and stuffs directly to the customers ?
Mat colleges mein 90% sales profiles are B2C(not door to door selling) here B2C means Business to Clients(not customers) B2B agar mil bhi jaye toh I dun think its a good start for a fresher to learn

how to apply for siescom i heard that its almost top colg under MAT

@pm199010 said:
@Gursimar2 even B2C seems a target completing job
that is the most unfortunate thing ...that these profile are "Target Oriented"....n ofcourse it requires hell lot of perspiration on any grounds....+ a any time fear of getting laid off will be ragging like any thing(excluding the exceptions).....!!...n guess what this is the biggest secret of tier 3 colleges to declare its best domain as "Marketing" .....as in marketing it is very easy to place students/attract companies at the campus......but ones people are in ...they hv a hard time to survive...!!... the bottom line is : It does NOT matter whether one chooses X college or Y collegs fr MBA under MAT....all what matters is the "profile" a candidate is looking fr ....if it's Marketing n one is NOT interested in sales....thn he/she is in any wayz going to suffer whether the college is X or it is Y ...!!
@pm199010 well written !!!

@satyam.maitrai if u can sell things u will grow at the rate of knots, steve job, ambani etc all big names rose because they could sell things n influence customers, yes itz hard word but if u want the fastest growth marketing is the way , and selling is the eventual sense of business whether HR,finance depends on sales , every company has to sell to survive, thats y marketing is of such importance buddy and has maximum placements..
@pm199010 i hv a high respect fr "Marketing" as a domain,just i thought of looking at it in a bit practical way :)....as quoted by one of the buddies in the earlier post that :"Mat colleges mein 90% sales profiles are B2C(not door to door selling) here B2C means Business to Clients(not customers) B2B agar mil bhi jaye toh I dun think its a good start for a fresher to learn" ....concludes that these profile are NOT good fr freshers to start ...!!...starting with a sales profile with say at a pay of 15,000-20,000 (wch nowerday even an LIC agent is able to earn by selling policies,and hv equal opportunities to became a Brand manager),and then expecting the pay to rise to 40-50,000 in a say time span of 2 years seems a bit out of the way.....it wd be better advisable to give CAT another short and Crack tier 1 colleges where one hv a direct opportunity to get into a profile of Market Research,Brand Management e.t.c after 2 yrs(unless one thinks that he/she can reach to those post from a B2C post even in a time span of less than 1 year,wch is highly QUIXOTIC) atleast you hv a descent ROI,A feel,and more importantly an authority as of a Manager,...!!....you wd be even shocked to know,there in our state there happens a Job Mela organized by our CM every year...where many of the Insurance companies directly offers the profile Area Manager,Asst manager e.t.c,with a descent package of 8+ lpa.....but guess what the condition is just one: "you hv to sell policies of worth Rs 1 Crore by the end of the 1st yr of ur joining...sell it and get your packager paid..else you can quit,and your so called package will be forfeited..n surprisingly the qualification to apply fr that job is " just graduation,though PG people also may apply 😁 .....now in this scene,there wd b 2 kinds of people,one who will get home back extremely elated,fr getting a job of worth 8 lacs...n second,wd be those practical ones,who will be knowing frm their bottom of the heart that it is almost impossible to achieve the given "target" in that span....and accepting such a offer is an utter waste of time...!!

the bottom line is : at tier 3 ,the Marketing Business, is purely "Commission" oriented....a fixed amount of commission(wch most people prefer to call as salary 😁 ) is given to an individual based on the amount of business he/she is able to sell(you sell 1 crore,you get 8 lacs,you sell 1 lacs,n u get 8 thousand)...!!..i agree most of CEO's hv their base in Marketing,but none i suppose wd hv started their career from a B2C model of business(the one provided by Companies at MAT Colleges)..n that is where the role of IIMs,XLRI,MDI comes in.....!!;so in nutshell,it's all about the CHOICE that we make....wch ultimately decides the track of our career,just becz we are being offered tier 3 B schools as of now...we simply can't ignore the the iron of Tier 1 schools on the grounds of Optimism 😃 !!
