Yes.Today i went to Jaypee School of Management at Noida, Sector 62.It is although not so popular as it doesn't advertise or promote itself on websites or newspapers but yes,its placements are damn good. Jaypee Group is a known name and till now 150 students have been placed with the minimum average package of 3lacs to 4 lacs. There are 290 students in total in its MBA batch. Most of the professors are PHD and IIM pass out and they overload the students with lots of assignments. Sprawling over an area of more than 10 acres, this Noida based campus in houses excellent infrastructure and the course fees for its two year MBA program is just Rs 5, 40,000.JIMS is more than 15 old but Jaypee's MBA program is just 5 year old. Above all, if i will avert your attention on an important note, this college is worth value for the money. Maanlo agar aapko end mein placement nahee miltee tou Jaypee group unn sabhie students ko apnee companies mein recruit kar letaa hai. Even i am considering it as the second option but as JIMS has a better brand value as well as the market value, I am prioritizing it as the apex or say notch option. The crowd is good in Jaypee and most of them are from UP and Delhi. Majorly both middle class as well as business class family background students can be seen at Jaypee. So overall crowd is fine. JIMS and Jaypee are at par with each other.....consider this one.
@pm199010 I have cleared the GDPI round of JIMS rohini sec 5and now iam in a muddle headed situation which college should i select to pursue my MBA. I have taken feedback from the students of Jaypee school of management and JIMS. Both of these colleges are not too bad and neither too good. But placement scenario in Jaypee Business school looks better to me.
JBS has PHD+IIM faculty with 30 years of work ex.
Till now 150 students have been placd at Jaypee.
In case if students don't get placements from the extrnal companies. Jaypee group absorbs those students in its own companies. So i need your opinion on the same. Which one should i choose? The average placements offered at JBS is 3 lacs to lacs per annum.

yes may be with ROI factor Jims sounds good...!!..but overall Christ shall surpass it on many qualitative grounds..!,atleast the total number of Application received by Christ itself justifies it's being one of the best choice among MAT takers.

yes that is true....but the TOP 160 students' of Christ wd surely be hvng atleast double of the average package than the 160 of Jims wd hv been :D

Competition may be low at Tier 2 colleges.....but then Colleges like Christ tops in bringing Tier 1 Companies to its Campus with the best package in the Industry every year (like if Accentute Comes,then they do offer a package of 10 lacs,even though they recruit only 10 people),wch atleast gives the students an opportunity to sit n qualify for the same.....bt at Tier 2 colleges you will never find Accenture,n even if u find,it wd be hiring fr its BPO sector
Secondly Good Colleges hv tie-up with Corporate Giants,they come every year to recruit,Christ has atleast 20-25 companies(tier 2 colleges hv just 2-3 ) that come every year n offer 6 + lpa package,if a candidate is good,then he will be seen cracking those companies ....n NOT only 1 ,may be this opportunity extends to 50 odd students...bt this shall NOT be a case at Tier 2 Schools,as if such a company comes,they will hire atmost 2-3 students in number n then those remaining 45-47 students(considering them of equal level as of Christ students) will hv to compromise with companies offering 3-4 lpa (sd those 47 students be at Christ,they cd hv been easily placed at 6 lpa,as opportunity fr 50 students were "actually" there)
it's just my opinion on a case to case basis.....their may be many good companies at Tier 2 Colleges too( i don't want to mention the name of any,as it is a general trend)

yes,actually NOT a single guy with acads below 60 in graduation was able to make it to Christ...there was a lot of fulmination about the same on their thread too..,as they hv clearly mentioned that the eligibility in Graduation is 50%,yet the conspiracy took place....!
n yes,the intake factor worries me too,that is why i am giving a thought to AMity(though i m yet to take its GD/PI n confirm the facts mentioned by the seniors),bt i will be atleast sure of 1 factor n that is regarding its commitment fr "quality" intake...the cut off thru CAT/MAT is the "highest" in the country fr any MAT based B school wch is 85%ile..!
