@exordium28 let me make somethings clear regarding finance placements, its pathetic under MAT colleges....for knowing the jims scenario better you can msg me regarding your queries....please dont go 
for finance under mat colleges, you wont get placements at ol at campus, either would be looking offcampus for 15-16k job(true reality)...marketing karni hai toh fer bhi thik hai 20-22k mil jayega

@exordium28 target any decent CAT college or symbiosis or drop a year rather wasting your money, time and career in mat for finance...bro not even 50%of the batch gets placed under finance n if they get then most of them are selling financial products at some or the other bank...so please look for better options, i am not scaring anyone but I knw my friends with finance spl in many colleges facing such situations....you might regret afterwards...I also took my decision to join a mat college from here itself, but i dont want anyone else to make such mistake, opt for mat college only when there is no other door open
@exordium28 most profiles offered are either related to sales(b2c or b2b) or research profiles but as there are limited number of research firms hiring from mat colleges so 90% marketing guys gets placed in sales only...remember if u do mba from IIM or amity, ndim,etc you will be offered sales in initial years though the positions and packages always differ
@Gursimar2 and as in i always have this doubt in my mind as to is marketing completely based on creativity only does it end wd end of creativity or is it long term???

, how quick you can take decisions and how then turn in favour of u....we guys before entering always mis-understand regarding what these specializations actually mean so dun worry about that either the fear of placement will turn you towards marketing 
or you would recoganize what u want to opt for....finance karni hai toh try BIMM or Christ(after talking to their seniors)...baaki sab colleges bekaar hai....creativity will work after you get into marketing dept or advertising or events management but not in sales

@Gursimar2 thnx man i seriously had no idea as to wat dese specialisation actually mean ....bt i was thnkn since every college is offereing more or less the same package then how cn one decide whether to go fr ndim jims or fortune?i mean how vil it matter?does brand name of jims or ndim help in future?
@exordium28 ndim is doing good this year, brand name of these college wont matter anytime except at the campus placement..after that your performance and skills would matter the most
