Those who have already given the test, will you be waiting for the result before scheduling the next attempt or are scheduling it right away?
This time the people at nmims havent specified any windows for the slots..... So will the result be declared all at once??
If u go in the important dates section on the nmat website they have written 22/01/2015 as the date for announcement of the result!!!!

Hello Guys.I appeared for NMAT-2015 at 2pm Slot on 16th Oct.,14 and was literally screwed up.Considering quantitative to be my strong section I took up the exam in the Quant-English-LR sequence but the questions of quant were hugely tough.The DIs were equally lengthy and complex.The questions were not that of the normal-NMAT-moderate type questions.Is it only me who faced such a scenario or are there any other test takers who have faced up any such scenarios?...All the best to others.Pray well before u appear!!
Very clear headed opinion of NMAT, collecting opinions of 2-3 people and myself: English not tough at all, the way people go frantic otherwise, in fact it was the easiest! passages very easy! LR a big shock, it was tough indeed considering I used to score 90-100 + in mocks! It is better to practise critical reasoning of LR well and go, so as to cover up for some of the tough series and sequences. Maths was moderate, those who choose and solve will find it comfortable. DIs were obviously data crunching ones, atleast 1 DI comes easy! REst is on luck! its better of mark option c or d as flukes- just a crazy wild stuff I am saying!

In desperate need for a good strategy for Verbal Ability section in NMAT. Its almost impossible to attempt all questions with 2 RCs. How are you guys doing it?

Today I had my NMAT exam scheduled for 2:00 PM at the test center location mentioned above.
I had the most excruciating experience of my life while giving the exam.
Firstly, the exam started 30 minutes late from the scheduled time due to some "technical error" - as informed by the test centre authorities.
Secondly, as the test progressed, the computer started to display an error message at intermittent intervals. The flow of the exam was broken in almost every 10-12 minutes interval. The authorities, extremely ill-prepared to handle the situation, started calling the technical support team from inside the room. So every time the test was restored for one candidate, with the timer running, the authorities would still be there in the room, speaking loudly over the phone with the tech-support team to resolve the issue for another candidate. This resulted in an extremely poor testing environment for all the candidates.
Finally, and this happened just with me, the system failed to restore to the original level. I had almost finished the exam and was attempting the last few remaining questions in the last section (Logical reasoning - chosen the last section as per my preference). Initially, I thought that this was just another system bug that would take another 10-12 minutes to get resolved. But after one-hour of waiting, I was told by the authorities that I will have to re-schedule the exam and re-attempt the exam right from the beginning.
The test center coordinator at South-Ex, so foolishly said that "the best thing is that you can take the next test for free".
I, further, had a word with another test center coordinator. She said that this happens almost every time and you can take the next exam whenever you want to, for free.
My test will now be re-scheduled for another day. I have also written a few mails to the PearsonVue customer feedback team.
Guys, please avoid taking the test at the South-Ex center.
Further, could anyone please suggest what additional steps can I take.
