There are no slots available in December or after 22nd Nov anywhere... I wana schedule my retake.. I am worried now.. Will more slots be available for this period ??? or now I can't schedule my retake..??
How to handle the LR paper of the NMAT . Can someone share the detailed strategy ?
Gave my exam today 2pm slot.
DI- 16 questions, 1 set easy of 4 question on pi chart, Two DI Sets on combination of graphs overall 5 sets out of which 3 were calculation intensive.
DS-6-8questions easy to moderate.
Quant- easy to moderate. little calculations involved . clocks/time and work/calendar/tsd/races/geometry/arithmetic.
Overall quant was tricky......TF mocks gives only 2 sets of di whereas the actual nmat has 24 questions on di and ds.
tips : Go through the options, in many of them you can easily eliminate 3 options.
LR : Quite easy ...one can solve 20-24 questions easily in this time frame....4 questions on coding v easy....one set of floor arrangement v easy...few questions critical reasoning... syllogisms /blood relations/input output.
Verbal : 8-10 questions on vocabulary (including FIB) made it little difficult for me. 5-6 question on grammar all easy ,,,4-5 Parajumble easy-moderate. Two RCs out of which one was easy the other one looked easy but could not read it.
Tips : If u bad at vocab go for the Rcs if u can read little fast.
Hi Guys - How do I prepare for critical reasoning in LR? Does anyone have any material they can share?

1. while filling for academic break, i mistakenly entered No but i do have an academic break.
2. I don't possess my passport right now. Its at home in Delhi while I'm in chennai. I just have my DL as the only ID proof.
what should i do?
and can i edit the form for my next attempt so that i can edit the mistakes there??
Hey guys NMAT does not have a separate/specific cutoff for DI right?? So is it okay to leave the tricky DI & focus on quant instead????

Puys , when i registered for NMAT i did not know that there will be three attemts allowed, so i picked a date in december that too last date and submitted the form.So does that means i wont be able to re take it?
And also i am not able to reschedule it to a prior date , if i do that will count 1 attempt.So is there any way to reschedule.
And last how much will it cost to reshedule , for retake it says 2000 and reshedule 1000 which one applies here?

Does anyone has any idea what to do in such circumstances, is anyone else facing the same issue...????
NMAT 2015, 19th October, Slot2-
It was overall a moderate to easy paper, with all the typical NMAT questions making an appearance.
Qa: fairly doable. Majorly arithmetic. 16 Di ques. 1 set complex. Rest simple.
LR: a bit time consuming but simpler than the TF mock.
English: words were simple, but the options were complex. One needs to know the meanings of all the 5 words. 1 RC v small. Couldn't attempt the other.
All in all, focus on the important areas of NMAT and keep moving ahead.
19th oct slot 2PM : moderate
correct attempts:
english - 15 -18
QA-30 -35
LR- 26 -30
missed one RC
missed two DI(were at the end of the section)
missed 4 input output ques in VA (attempted 6)
need to practice more to gain speed.
puys any idea if NM people are gonna open new slots in the current window. Or does it mean we have to schedule retakes in the slots which are currently visible?
