[Official] NMAT 2015

is there going to be any new slots available in december ?? . i really want to book a re-test in december and i cant find any slots open in delhi region 😞 .

Hi guys

The Quant portion of NMAT has questions majorly from which area? Would be helpful to know which areas arre to be given more importance. Thanks

1st window ends on which date? I gave on 19thoct.. when can i expect the result?

So I have a back(just one) paper(economics) from fourth semester.I'll finish graduation by July and my result for sixth sem(3 year course, yes arts) will be out by AUGUST (standard DU date) so will delayed result be a problem? Because my result anyway would be late irrespective of the back! Please help me out getting a bit tense.

A tiger is chasing a rabbit, which first ran 3m to the east then 5 m to the north, then 6m to the south and finally 7 m to the west. What is the distance covered by the rabbit?

Guys i cant find any available slots in nov end or dec for the retake. Will new slots open up or these are the last ones available?

Anyone who has already appeared for NMAT and also gave TIME mocks? How close are they to actual NMAT?

anybody can tell...

When should I expect Nmat result? I gave it on 10th oct.

29th October 11:30 AM:

VA - It was moderate. There were 10-12 questions in grammar. Easy level. 8 questions on RC. RC questions were inference based. Rest on Vocab and PJs. Vocab words were vindicate, cantankerous, guile. The level of toughness was average.

LR- It was very easy. CR questions were almost direct. 5-6 questions on just different pattern were there. It was easier than TF mock. Though it was slight tough due to the time constraint.

Quant - Out of 48 questions, I could find only 8 questions which were of higher level. Others were way easy, provided your basics are clear. Few questions can be solved directly in one glimpse. Yes. Thats the key for NMAT quant. DI's were too many but it was of easy level.

Looking for second attempt as I screwed verbal.

hii,,can ay1 tell me tell me about d cutt off of x,xii and graduation to get d admission NMIS Mumnbai

hey can anyone tell me what are  the cut-offs for individual sections for  Mumbai campus

29th October 2:30 slot:

LA: Given the time constraint, 60% attempts with 80% accuracy would be good enough to clear the cutoff. Although the sets were doable, they were very time consuming. 25-30% of the questions were pattern based 😞

QA: Easy. Of the DIs, only one involved exhaustive calculations, rest were moderate (contrary to what others have faced). 60 minutes for 48 questions were almost sufficient.

VA: Again, Moderate to easy. No where near TF mocks. RCs were short and comprehensible but questions were largely inference based. Vocab can be classified as Moderate to difficult. Grammar was again a cakewalk.

All in all, a simple paper. Given the previous reviews of the test, it seems to me that normalization has a big part to play this year. :fingers crossed:

Gave NMAT today.. 11.45 slot.

LR - moderately easy.. 1 LR set was difficult. rest of the questions were simple..

QA - 20 questions on DI.. make or break section this... attempted all 20 of them.. with accuracy of 60-65 % (hope so). other questions were doable.. overall this section too was easy - moderate

VA - 6 questions on antonyms & synonyms .. ( i did horibly wrong here 😞  8 questions on RC ( i guess 4 C / 4 W ) rest were easy..

Are there any slots in December ?

Did anyone get any.

I'm from Delhi

Gave NMAT on 27th oct..

Started with VA then QA and finally LR.

VA was easy to moderate.

QA was moderate with data intensive DI sets ( 1 was easy, 1 moderate and 3 difficult so left the 3 difficult sets). There were many sitters too.

LR was on the higher side of moderate. Couldn't mark random answers for the last four questions.

Now comparing it with TF mocks. (These are just my personal opinions)

In TF mocks most of the time one section is easy, one section is moderate and one is tough. But in actual NMAT even the toughest section is not as tough as the "difficult" section in TF mocks.

QA-  I found QA slightly easier in actual NMAT. There were more sitters compared to TF.

VA was definitely easier in actual NMAT.( Although I am not the  right person to comment anything related to VA coz I hardly clear the cut off)

LR was somewhat similar in both or may a notch lower than TF.

I found the overall difficulty to be less than that of TF mocks..But we have normalization to care of that.

Expected NMAT score= average TF score + 20  +/- 10)

Got NMAT today (30th October), Will review it as soon as I return. (P.S. - Wish me luck)

I just gave a iNMAT01 mock of Test Funda. Much tougher than AIMNMATs of TIME! Thanks for the suggestion!

Tell me how many more free TF NMAT mocks can I give and how? Or any other NMAT free mocks?

i had 80% in x,71 in xii and 59.75 in btech till 6th sem,can i get admission with this profille??pls help
